Kineton Manor is a beautiful Georgian country house with an impressive history. Situated in the middle of a small Warwickshire village, it enjoys the many amenities and friendly atmosphere of village life and affords fine views across the eight acres of land belonging to the house and beyond that to Edgehill.

The aim of the professional nursing staff is to look after the physical and spiritual needs of residents whilst allowing them to live full lives and retain control of their own daily routine, and so be able to enjoy privacy, dignity and individuality.

Kineton Manor was awarded an 'Outstanding' rating by the CQC in July 2016, 2019 and "good" in 2021.

Kineton Manor provides residential and nursing care, dementia care, respite care, day care, palliative care, convalescent and post-operative care.

The staff are all fully trained and benefit from continuous development programmes. All staff are permanently employed.

The residents’ rooms are en-suite and are pleasant, comfortable and individually decorated. Personal furniture and effects are welcome.

The home is surrounded by large gardens, beautifully kept by a gardener, providing many attractive places to sit among the flowers and trees.

    Our fees vary as they are tailored to reflect the type of accommodation and level of care required. Our home in Kineton has 3 different types of bedrooms and the cost starts from ÂŁ850.00 to ÂŁ900.00 per week in a shared room and ÂŁ1,250.00 to ÂŁ1,300.00 for a private room. Large single rooms with space for a lounge area range from ÂŁ1,350.00 to ÂŁ1,400.00 week. Rates are finalised once an assessment of the resident's needs has been completed.


    Once a resident has been admitted to the nursing home our Nurses complete a Continuing Healthcare / Funded Nursing Care Checklist. (Consent will be required by either the resident themselves or by their next of kin)


    Should a resident become eligible for Continuing Healthcare this means the cost of their stay will be fully funded by the NHS.


    Funded Nursing Care is an amount of money that is paid by the Government if a resident is deemed to require nursing care (as opposed to residential). Should a resident become eligible for Funded Nursing Care whilst at Kineton Manor, the nursing home keeps this money in addition to the fees, as our fees are structured to take account of this possibility.

One word sums up this nursing home - outstanding.
The home is always spotless and clean but more important are the staff. Their care for the residents is really exceptional, always having time for residents and visitors as well as their manner with residents. I had known of the high reputation of this
nursing home for many years. My wife has been a resident since March and the reassurance I have knowing that she is being so well looked after is beyond words.

Mum had lived in Kineton Manor since September 2020. During this time, I have had no complaints regarding the care provided to Mum. Overall, it was constantly very good. Her health declined at the beginning of December 2022, when she was diagnosed with a UTI. Kineton Manor were very supportive, to both
Mum and myself, providing a carer to accompany Mum in the ambulance whilst I made arrangements, enabling me to follow on and relieve the carer at the hospital. Sadly, Mum passed away at the end of December. Again, the level of care provided to Mum and support I received were both excellent, which I found to be a massive comfort at a very sad time.

My husband spent his last five weeks in Kineton Manor Nursing Home and had wonderful care. He suffered from Alzheimer's and could not walk. He received 24-hour care from caring nurses and helpers. The home provided me with all the information and help I needed and his end-of-life care was faultless.

From the day my wife arrived in April 2021 until she died, she felt at home at Kineton Manor Nursing Home. The nursing and personal care were to an extremely high standard throughout. All the staff are dedicated and were loving towards my wife, so she loved them all. During covid, there was very strict
adherence to testing of all visitors including family members. End-of-life care was planned for. I took short holidays myself with every confidence she would be happy, and she was.

The staff are exceptional, genuinely kind and caring. Every effort is made to respect a resident's dignity. Standards of hygiene are high. Family and friends are made to feel very welcome. Birthdays and special events are celebrated. One of the best I've ever experienced.

My father has dementia and has been a resident since April 2022. The staff at Kineton Manor are caring, friendly and kind. Dad is always clean and smart. The Manor is in a lovely setting with outside space. Most importantly Dad is content and his needs are being met. If we have any issues, which are
always minor things, they are addressed.

My mother moved into Kineton Manor in July 2022. She had been a strong, independent 92-year-old. We were advised that it would take her about three weeks to settle and this was true. Although my mother had never wanted to leave her own home, she appreciated and valued the care she received at Kineton
Manor. She told us that she was very well cared for.
The staff are exceptionally kind to residents and relatives. We befriended the carers who looked after Mum with smiles, affection, and interest in her life. They accepted ideas and suggestions to make her stay as comfortable and homely as possible, and always treated her as an individual. My mother enjoyed the food and was grateful to have her hair and nails done. She did not visit the lounge but it was apparent that there were activities and social events that she could have joined.
Mum died in May 2023. There was constant liaison between the staff and the GP. Her death was peaceful and dignified.
I am thoroughly grateful.

We arrived at Kineton Manor very nervous about the new experience but were immediately made at home and given care at all times by one of the family of staff.
Patients are treated with utmost dignity and kindness. There is always an air of calm whatever time of day one arrives and members of our family

My father moved into Kineton Manor Nursing Home in September 2021 for respite care initially, following a fall and mini-stroke. The staff were welcoming, helpful and supportive settling him in and very professional when attending to his medical needs. It was a huge relief to know he was in a place of
safety where he regarded his carers as friends and flourished in the warm, family atmosphere and with the tasty, well-balanced meals he enjoyed there. Sadly, after initially improving beyond expectations, he suffered a major stroke in February and passed away in May. During this difficult time, we continued to be impressed by the kindness, patience and professionalism of the staff. Communication was excellent - we received daily updates by telephone when we couldn't be there in person. The compassionate, sensitive support shown to us as a family was outstanding. All this was while Covid rules continued to make things harder for the staff who remained cheerful, friendly and approachable throughout.

I thoroughly recommend Kineton Manor Nursing Home. They look after her very competently with great care and affection. It has always been clean and tidy on every visit over the last 2 years. She is very happy there, suffering from Alzheimer's.

My mother has been a resident since February 2020. From the outset and continuously, Mum's care has been of the highest order. During Covid times Kineton did everything to protect residents and staff with the utmost professionalism and compassion. What was an extraordinarily difficult time was eased
by knowing that Mum was in the safest place for her and that she was receiving the best care. My brother and I do not live locally but we have felt totally involved in Mum's care (ongoing) and totally part of Kineton's 'family'.

This nursing home is wonderful. My mother of 93 has dementia and has been living here since October 2021. She was able to come with her dog which helped the transition from her home to Kineton Manor Nursing Home and although we couldn’t keep him there it made it all so much easier and we were so grateful
to the staff for allowing my mother this prop. We are told this is her home and they do everything they can to make life contented for them and fun. Nearly always a smile from my mother when I visit and from the staff. Covid restrictions permitting a cup of coffee when I visit is happily brought to me as I sit with my mother in the beautiful garden. A new arbour in the garden with lovely views and shaded is a thoughtful addition for residents and visitors. My mother in law was a resident, she died 8 years ago. It says a lot that many of the staff are the same. The ethos is excellent.

My mother lived at Kineton Manor (recently deceased) for 5 years. I can honestly say that I don't think she could have been looked after any better than she was. The staff were always extremely professional and at the same time very 'human'. My family and I were made to feel like part of a big family
who were all working together to make Mum's life as happy and as comfortable as possible.

My father was a resident for 2 and a half years and throughout this time he was treated with compassion and dignity. His care was of the highest standard and his medical needs were always handled diligently. The staff were friendly and efficient and my family felt welcome when visiting. Appropriate

Mum moved from a nursing home near Preston to be nearer to us. The room, staff and atmosphere helped her settle quickly, despite being deft and getting dementia. The staff are very kind and professional. During COVID lockdown I visited to see her through her ground floor window. She contracted COVID
in the home and survived it. She was looked after for a further 18 months, dying very peacefully in January 2021 (not COVID). The staff are excellent at what they do and create a lovely home.

Both my parents were warmly welcomed to Kineton Manor in December 2020. They soon felt at home and became relaxed, happy and content. I have found the staff to be friendly, warmhearted, caring and compassionate with huge reserves of patience and goodwill; nothing seems too much trouble and they really
value each resident and treat them as well-loved family members. Watching them talk with and provide help to my mum in such a gentle and reassuring way is lovely to see. It is clear she feels totally at ease and sees all staff as 'friends and family'. Equally, I feel so glad that my dad was able to spend the last few months of his life here, where he was safe and secure in his 'four-star hotel' and so well cared for in every respect. As a family we feel we made absolutely the very best choice: kind, dedicated and experienced staff who always have a smile and provide wonderful care; accomplished management; a homely atmosphere and comfortable surroundings. We couldn't be more pleased.
