Burton Closes Hall Nursing Home is a converted Grade II building, offering grandeur, beauty and style from the moment you set eyes on it. This decadent home consists of sixty-five en-suite bedrooms and is the home of choice for those wanting that extra special place for their loved one.

Of course the beauty of the home and gardens are just the beginning and are excellently complimented by the care offered to each and every resident in the home. The service is focussed on specialist care delivery, with its own residential dementia unit, an Elizabethan style nursing unit and a young physical disabled unit.

Carers offer residents and their families the support they need during what many find some of the most trying times of their lives. Families are truly grateful for the personal support they receive, when faced with one of life's very difficult decisions and the team pride themselves on continuing that support to residents and their families from the moment they contact the home throughout the whole of their stay and beyond.

The approach to care is simple - look after the person and not the ailment/condition alone - Carers want to get to know their residents and their families, thus enabling them to look after the whole person and not just to concentrate on the task in hand. Staff get to know their clients, who they are, who they were and how they have come to be at the home. Carers get to know their families too and like to understand the dynamics within the family setting and how best they can support these as they build a relationship of trust. My mum was admitted to this beautiful care home after a bad experience in her previous residence. From the moment Mum moved into Burton Closes Hall, she lit up from within in total happiness and contentment. This is a testament to all that work at Burton Closes Hall to their hard-working and caring
nature. Inside the hall and the living quarters are first class.

My niece is living at Burton Closes Hall, although I have not been able to visit due to the virus, I do know how she feels about Burton Closes. She is very happy here and all the staff are very caring and she is treated with dignity at all times especially in these difficult times. We would like to

Due to the situation with COVID-19, I have not been able to see inside the care home, but according to friends who have, conditions are very good, as are the meals and staff. From my very first contact with the management and staff, I have had a good feeling that I am dealing with people who care and

My brother has been resident for 18 months at Burton Closes Hall - he is not an easy individual and sadly now has terminal cancer. The home has been exemplary in his care and of me. Can't fault them. So relieved he is there.

The care and treatment of my mother is of an extremely high standard. The staff are friendly, attentive and professional. The support and administration has improved remarkably in the last year. Cleanliness is generally very good but I do wonder whether occasionally the residents' toilet needs attending
to more frequently. Too smelly sometimes.
