I have found Kilburn Care Home to be very friendly and caring towards all residents and their family and friends. My mother has been living there for 54 months with good care. The manageress and her team all go that extra mile to help make their life healthy, safe and happy.

I have been very impressed with the care that is given to the residents. The staff are so caring and patient with them all, even when some are aggressive towards them. They show love and affection to them by hugging and sometimes kissing the tops of their heads.
The carers get on with each other so
well and are happy which gives a lovely atmosphere at the home. There is always entertainment planned and lovely decorations, especially at Halloween, Christmas, etc.

A very hard job for the carers to do. My brother is very difficult to understand at times.

The care home is small and friendly. The staff take time to relate personally to the residents, addressing them by name and knowing their likes and dislikes. They are kind.
My mother is clean and tidy when I visit. I think the staff do a difficult job to a good standard; these dedicated people should
be better recognised - and higher paid - for their contribution.
The care home is well managed and the atmosphere is cheerful.

My Uncle became unable to look after himself and had no local relatives. We tried 3 other care homes. In the last one, we really believed he would die. We moved him to Kilburn and there was a transformation. His health improved and he got a new lease of life. You can tell by the atmosphere and attitude
of the staff that residents are cared for. His room is always spotless. He is clean and despite being almost blind and deaf his communication has improved.

I have nothing but praise for Kilbury Care Home. From the first day my Dad went there to the day he passed away they treated him with not just care but love that could only come from a team of staff that are like a family amongst themselves and with every resident. I have put security as poor as my husband and a lady got out one evening last summer.
They have done more now to make it better.

I am very sorry this incident happened. We have taken the correct action to prevent this ever happening again. We have increased security in the home by installing a padlock to the side gate and the patio doors are double locked so can only be used with a staff member present. Since inputting these control measures we have had no further issues or concerns of this nature.

Only been connected to the home for less than two months. Overall, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They try to do a good job under difficult circumstances.


I would like to see some air conditioning (or extra) in the main reception room, as it gets extremely warm in there.

Very caring staff they are all very good with each person's needs. Everyone needs different care. They all call mum (mama) because when mum's grandchildren come they call her that. Mum calls all the staff by her grandchildren's names because they are the same young and it saves confusion. They are

My mum has been a resident at Kilburn Care Home since November 2016 and I can't praise the staff enough. They are very welcoming and always take the time to listen and answer any questions I may have. They are friendly, caring and committed to their jobs. They look after and care for my mum with all
her needs. They are patient, kind and very helpful.


I am really pleased with how mum is looked after and treated and would highly recommend Kilburn Care Home to anyone who is looking for care for a loved one.

My husband transferred here at end of stage dementia. Lovely welcome, nice room and everything he needed. Caring, professional staff, very impressed. Unfortunately, he was admitted to hospital and died three weeks after admission.

Her leadership is characterised by a commitment to excellence, empathy, and a hands-on approach that ensures the highest quality of life for residents.

Hi, I'm Georgia, the activities coordinator at Kilburn Care Home. With a career spanning 13 years in the care sector, I have dedicated the last two years to bringing joy and engagement to the residents of Kilburn. My journey with Kilburn began earlier, working night shifts, but my passion for enhancing residents' lives through activities led me to my current role.


I absolutely love my job and the opportunity it gives me to spend quality time with our residents. Each day is a new adventure, filled with different activities and the chance to learn about the incredible lives of those in our care. My role allows me to create meaningful and enjoyable experiences that brighten our residents' days and foster a sense of community.


Outside of work, I cherish time spent with my husband, our son, and our three dogs. We enjoy going on walks together and exploring the beautiful countryside. One of our favourite destinations is Devon, where we love to go on holidays and create lasting family memories.

Hi, my name is Sian Milne, and I am a dedicated Care Assistant at Kilburn Care Home. Since joining the team in February 2020, I have found immense joy in meeting new residents, caring for them, and listening to the rich stories and experiences they share.


My role at Kilburn allows me to provide compassionate and attentive care to our residents, ensuring they feel valued and supported. I take great pride in building strong relationships with each resident, understanding their individual needs, and contributing to their overall well-being.


Outside of my professional life, I am a devoted mum to two little girls. I cherish spending quality time with them and my husband, creating beautiful memories together. Our family enjoys a variety of activities, from taking the girls to dance classes and going on walks to spending time with extended family members. These moments of togetherness are incredibly important to me and bring balance to my life.


At Kilburn Care Home, my goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents, providing them with the care and attention they deserve. I am passionate about my role and feel privileged to be part of such a supportive and caring community.
