Management and staff absolutely lovely nothing is too much trouble. The home is very clean. My friend is very complimentary about the staff she did say everyone is very kind. Would highly recommend it.

All staff were very helpful. We were kept well informed. Nothing was too much trouble. When we rang up, they always tried to video call. On arriving to collect my aunty, we were met with polite, professional staff.

I have already recommended Langdale Heights to a friend, however, I am unsure what care they are looking for. When I described the kindness and care given they were impressed. The thoughtfulness of dealing with the situations presented to the carers due to the nature of the resident's needs is lovely.
The activities and cleanliness is good. The changing situations are dealt with well and love is shown to the residents. I cannot rate some of the areas, such as the rooms, as I have been unable to view.

The administrator and the dementia leader were very friendly. We had received no information on the room Mum sleeps in which is shared and therefore we could not go inside. There was very limited space for Mum to make her area feel like home; it is like a hospital ward. We were confined to the restaurant
which had food stains on the floor from lunch. Mum likes to get up and walk around regularly but there was less than one member of staff to two residents at the weekend. We were told there were lots of activities to stimulate Mum but the lounge was just full of people looking unhappy with some seats facing a TV. The garden is a concreted area with budgies in a cage and the front garden is inaccessible. Unsuitable for residents to walk outside the front of the home due to a narrow passageway for cars leading onto a main road.

My 92-year-old mum, who suffers with Alzheimer's disease, was transferred to Langdale Heights Covid Unit in January 2021 after contracting Covid-19.
With the Covid and lockdown restrictions in place, I have been unable to visit and extremely worried about what effect this move would have on my mum's
wellbeing.
However, I have been most impressed with the way manager's and their team have helped to settle my mum into her new environment.
They have done everything possible in these current circumstances to reassure me and alleviate my anxieties. I have regular WhatsApp face to face calls with Mum and staff. I am regularly updated by the manager and he has helped to navigate my way through the whole placement procedure.
I have no hesitation in recommending Langdale Heights to other relatives who may find themselves in similar situations.

I visit my sister once a week and have always found her clean and well looked after. The staff are very helpful and will answer any questions we have. We are offered a hot drink and always feel welcome. Langdale is not the most luxurious care home I have seen but the care is well above the others I've

I'd like to bring to light the care and the extra mile that staff have gone to with my dad. They provided empathy and TLC he needed. He has a passion for "chips" and at 2am when he was unsettled staff made him chips. It's that extra mile that made a difference. Staff have found a way through to my dad
to enhance his wellbeing. Staff are supportive and empathetic.

Excellent care home. Each and every member of staff is fully competent, caring and friendly.
I am very happy with how they cared for my mum and made her feel at home and catered to her every need. Value for money for the work the staff provide. Super clean.
Could do with more activities and update

I find the home very friendly and caring. They look after hygiene and everything else to do with cleanliness. The food is very good. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable. The activities are good and they try to keep them mobile a little more. We went to the cinema the other day I went as a carer,
it was a wonderful experience, everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
