Aylesham Court is an outstanding home and offers a warm and welcoming environment with a wide range of care services for the elderly. Care options include nursing, residential, convalescence, respite, palliative and day care, with the ground floor dedicated to residential residents.

This purpose-built home with its well-furnished interior provides a pleasant dining room and four spacious and homely lounges where residents have the opportunity to relax and socialise. All bedrooms come with ensuite facilities and a 24-hour call system, and residents are able to personalise their room with their own furniture and personal items.

Each resident’s dietary requirements and personal preferences are taken into account, and the chef provides both cooked meals, light and cold alternatives, as well as popular homemade cakes.

Some of the many activities residents can enjoy include line dancing classes, exercise classes, baking and cooking, church services, crafts and pampering sessions, and there are also regular organised outings and trips to places of local interest.

Aylesham Court Care Home is a lovely care home. The care is second to none! The staff cannot do enough for residents and go above and beyond every day!
Highly recommended. My mum is very happy here and lots of peace of mind for me.

My mum is in the home following a hospital stay.
She is loving her stay and says that the home is a haven. She enjoys the food, feels that nothing is too much trouble and describes a sense of belonging.
The team care about the residents and I think that this comes from the top, with the manager and
her deputy listening and creating an ethos where the residents are treated like family members
Mum also thinks her room is fab......I had looked at other nursing homes and would have needed to bring in lots of things to make the room look nice. The rooms here are tastefully decorated and a pleasure to be in.
There is a buzz and vibrancy within the home, with activities to join in with, but no pressure to do so.
As both a daughter and a nurse, I wanted to give feedback and thank the team. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Aylesham Court!

My wife has been at Aylesham for 10 months, she has been treated with dignity and wonderful care. My wife appears happy at Aylesham. The support I have been given by the staff has been wonderful. I would not hesitate to recommend Aylesham as a 5 star home.

Aylesham is a brilliant home, the staff could not do enough for the residents. It's very clean, well managed, and the staff are helpful and friendly. If I was to go into a home, Aylesham Court would be the one I would choose.

I arrived at Aylesham Court after 12 days in hospital, feeling poorly, shattered and weepy. On being shown my room up in the treetops, I did shed a few tears. The staff were so kind and a cup of tea, minute sandwiches and fruit was absolutely fabulous. Calmed me down for a first night's sleep. The first
shower for over 2 weeks followed by a hair appointment the next morning made me feel as if I was back in the land of the living. I was left to my peace and quiet, delicious meals and my strength gradually revived. All the staff kind and gentle and treated me as a person.
I am truly thankful I came to Aylesham Court.

Since my dear dad came here to live he has been looked after really well. Everyone here is so kind and nothing is too much for them to deal with on our behalf. Yes, they looked after me also. Wonderful. From walking through the door to leaving, everybody makes visiting a pleasant time and Dad and I

It is hard to express the depth of gratitude that I feel that my brother was able to spend his final weeks in this wonderful Nursing Home. Having experienced poor care in a previous home, I can honestly say that Aylesham Court came only second to the hospice, which is a high accolade indeed.
The understanding
of my brother's very individual needs were exceptional. The kindness, care and compassion that was shown not only to my brother but also me will never be forgotten. The home is superbly run and this is reflected in all of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they all had a welcoming smile and offers of a cup of tea each time we visited. Staff knew my brother's last wish was to return to the hospice and when the time came they quietly and efficiently ensured his last wish came true. Bless them all.

My husband had Parkinson's for 3 and a half years, started to deteriorate with his Parkinson's and mobility. In October before he passed away they found cancer in his pelvis. He had treatment but couldn't continue as he was too poorly. He came to Aylesham Court Care Home and he was given outstanding
care. All the staff treated him with respect and dignity. It has been a year since his death and I would just like to say a massive thank you to Aylesham Court Care Home for letting him die with dignity and all the love and care given to me during his stay at Aylesham Court Care Home.

My Dad was resident at Aylesham Court for approximately 3 months. During this time I was impressed with the care and attention he received from the moment he arrived. Staff could not have been more helpful and made the transition so much easier for him and me. The entertainment was a particular enjoyment
for him and the bingo! He has now returned home and again the help received in organising his leaving was excellent.

My husband has been resident at Aylesham Court for nearly 3 years. The home is amazing. They have got to know him really well and cater for all his needs. The nursing staff spot problems before they develop into something serious. The care staff treat him with great dignity and provide excellent everyday
care. The management team in the home have been incredibly supportive during a very difficult transition into full-time care for both of us. I cannot recommend them and the home enough.

I was in Aylesham Court as a short stay care resident after surgery and a hospital stay as I was unable to care for myself. I have spent 7 weeks here and have been well looked after, the staff are all friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them.

Aylesham Court looked after and cared for my wife's Mum, my Mother-in-Law, for more than 18 months following her admission in October 2015.
Throughout the whole period, the care and attention given to Mum was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. Nurses and carers were continually popping into
her room to ensure she was well, comfortable and as content as was possible. The final month of her life when she was really unwell, the attention to her and her needs was simply first class. We owe Aylesham Court a huge 'thank you'.

My mother has lived at Aylesham Court for just over three years and was not expected to live for very long, having been discharged there from a local hospice. Despite that, she is very much still alive and kicking, due very much to the excellent care she receives at Aylesham Court. I am really happy
with the service and feel confident and assured that the staff always look after her as well as they possibly can. Her functioning has gradually reduced over time but she still has a good quality of life despite her limitations. She also engages in the many activities on offer when she is able to and has particularly enjoyed the trips out. The staff and managers are all very welcoming and friendly and my mother rates them highly as they generally respond very efficiently to her requests for assistance or medication. The home is modern and always clean and my mother's room and her en-suite are well kept. I cannot recommend this home highly enough to others that require this care.

My mother was a resident for three months. She required full-time nursing care. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. When attending to her needs. I was always given answers to any questions I asked and any requests I made were dealt with promptly.
During the time of her death,
she was treated with dignity and the night staff were very supportive at that time.
I would recommend Aylsham Court Care Home to anyone wishing to have their relatives cared for.

Since my mother went to Aylesham Court Care Home she has gone from strength to strength. She has flourished under the care of the staff and is now doing things she would never have done before. She is happy and settled, and I must say, the care she receives, day and night is second to none. The staff
at all levels are friendly and approachable and have one aim in view - to make the residents happy.
Should my mother be feeling unwell there is staff to assess her problems and deal with them promptly, whether that be a kind word and holding her hand or booking a visit from the doctor.
Her room is clean, modern and comfortable and has everything she needs. Outside there are pleasant gardens and lawns which are well tended.
The entertainment programme ranges from visiting entertainers, bingo, cuddly animals and M's Move & Groove (worth the entrance fee alone!!) to pizza nights and the odd glass or two of sherry.
I have no hesitation in recommending.
