My husband was a resident of Cedar Falls from July 2020 to November 2020, when he moved to a new Tanglewood much closer to home. The staff were all so caring and took great care of him for the time he was there. Visits were restricted due to Covid 19, but were organised well. Thank you to all at Cedar
Falls.

Amazing care, from housekeepers to qualified nurses, manager, all staff totally approachable, one big extended, happy family. Total confidence in all staff. When your loved one goes through the stages of dementia, it affects the whole family. There is light at the end of the tunnel, at Cedar Falls,
as everything is understood. The staff are highly trained, understanding each and everyone's needs, nothing challenges them. The communication is there on the phone, internet, even - due to lockdown. Activity and stimulation, are so thorough and we get regular photos of themes, Halloween, Remembrance Day. The Christmas parties and Summer Fairs are exceptional, so much work goes into this. The standards of hygiene, health and safety are second to none. To have the peace of mind of your family member, being safe, secure, and so looked after is paramount, and as a family, we can sleep well at night. Thank you every member of Cedar Falls, we so appreciate you.

Excellent care provided by all staff, clean and well looked after rooms, excellent communication regarding the current situation with covid, the highest precautions taken by all staff which is a comfort to all relatives who have family in the home.
I could not recommend Cedar Falls highly enough, the
friendliness and compassion showed by staff is second to none. My mother is happy at Cedar Falls and we know we do not have to worry about her as she couldn’t be better looked after.

All aspects of mothers care discussed. It was decided she required nursing care instead of residential due to her deteriorated condition. She is still at the same home and is very happy, as the family are too. The family kept in touch if any concerns arise.

Excellent care home, kind, caring staff. My mum is always clean and well cared for and the food is lovely. Everywhere is lovely and clean and her room is lovely. She has a private toilet and handbasin. All the staff are lovely to her. There are always activities for her to join in. Security is very
good, relatives are made very welcome. She is always treated with dignity and we can always talk to the staff, they keep us well informed. It's so nice to know my mum is well cared for.

Caring, empathetic service provided to my elderly friend (resident) at the end of their life, including arranging for a very small Ruby wedding celebrations to take place in intimate surroundings. Excellent care given to support husband over final months - and compassion still extended many months after
her death by staff meeting him in town. Very impressed.

My wife was transferred from a care home in Spalding in early 2016. Since she has been a resident at Cedar Falls she has felt very happy and secure and safe which was not the case on the other care home. The staff from manager to cleaner very kind, helpful and always make sure my wife is treated in
a dignified fashion. Above all I now have peace of mind my wife is being well cared for.

My husband has severe dementia and has been a resident at Tanglewood Cedar Falls for nearly 3 years, since Jan 2013. I am completely satisfied with all aspects of his care and have every confidence in the matron's management. My husband is now in full nursing care and is treated at all times with dignity
and compassion.

We have always had a good relationship with all the staff and matron, everyone is willing to assist and help in whatever way they can. So the review, with members of staff and NHS personnel, although very professional, I found it a very open and honest review of the situation. With us able to speak

The grounds, buildings, gardens, and interiors are like a good quality hotel. The abundant staff are excellently efficient, kind, considerate, caring, patient, and cheerful. The whole home is spotlessly clean and attractive. The food is excellent, and every individual catered for, all tastes, diets
and appetites being accommodated. Every resident is treated with care, as an individual, and as a valuable person.


This is the third "home" mother in law has lived in, far exceeding the others in all ways.


The management is good for the staff, and residents alike.


On visiting we are always content to leave mother in law in their care.


Recommend most highly.

Excellent caring service. Very well run with plenty of very helpful staff. My mother, who is self funding, has been in this home since June 2012. She is 102. It was a great improvement on her previous home where there always seemed to be a shortage of staff. Cedar Falls also provides first class
tea and cake for visitors.

Always find all the staff very polite and helpful. It comes over that staff priority is the care for the residents, monthly meetings with the matron keeps relatives up to date. Always something going on involving residents, plenty of stimulation. The standard of cleanliness is very high.

"I started at Cedar Falls as a Chambermaid in 2007 and transferred to the care department in 2008. I then earned my NVQ 2 & 3 and progressed to Senior Care Assistant. I loved the work so much that I decided to train as a nurse and did my training while still working at home. I qualified in 2019 and proudly began working as a nurse. In 2020 I was promoted to Deputy Manager which was a fantastic achievement and meant so much to me. I love being part of the community at Cedar Falls and leading such an amazing team."
