We were very pleased indeed with the care my uncle received at The Fountains. He was there for just the last week of his life, but everything that could be done was done to make him comfortable. His room was large, airy, light and clean. The staff were all very welcoming and accommodating.
Don't be
put off if you think some dining rooms a little dowdy - what really matters is the caring staff who look after the varied needs of the residents. The nurse we met clearly leads a very good team.

We chose The Fountains when we found ourselves in urgent need of care for my elderly parents. The team there couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. My advice to anyone would be to look past the decor to the important things like quality of care not only for residents but also for the families.
They work as a team at The Fountains and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Mam was treated as an individual with care and thoughtfulness. As family we were encouraged to visit at times to suit us, nothing was a problem, we visit at different times and always find The Fountains Care Centre inviting and clean with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Mam enjoys the activities and
the lovely gardens with flowers and birds around, I would recommend The Fountains as I am happy that my mam is so well looked after.

I have been visiting the care home for weekly daycare over the past year and have found the staff treating me with dignity, friendliness and respect.
Nothing is too much trouble for them. The activities are mentally and physically stimulating and enjoyable.

The Fountains is quite a "homely" care home and staff are friendly and considerate to residents needs. The new manager is very approachable, makes time to listen to any concerns and is open to suggestions. Mum has advanced Alzheimers and can be difficult at times but staff take this in their stride
treating her with respect and dignity at all times. The home itself is a little old fashioned but this adds to its charm and comfort. The new manager has outlined to us changes she wishes to make which are all centred around the resident's comfort and wellbeing.

My great auntie has been a resident at the home for over a year now.
She is always smiling and enjoys the activities that are available.
Staff are friendly and approachable and are always available to answer my questions.
Rooms are clean and tidy and my great auntie has a room with a toilet which
is handy for night time.
My great auntie appears happy living in the home and has made friends with other residents, it's nice to see her socialise again as when she lived at home she was unable to get out much.
Overall my opinion on the home is a good one, I would recommend to others which I already do from word of mouth.

My mum has only been at Fountains a short time after moving from another home for various reasons. Already my mum looks cleaner, smells nice etc. She has a lovely room and from what I have seen so far the staff are very nice.

My Mother has been staying in the Fountains since February 2012, and during that time I have had the opportunity to get to know some of the staff well. I can honestly say that I would not do their job for all the tea in China. I live over 5 hours away and yet whenever I phone to ask how mum is the staff
here always take the time to reassure
me on all aspects of her health and well being. I visit when I can and am always greeted with a smile and a cheery hello. It is nice to know that mum is in such good hands.

My mother in law was a resident at The Fountains for six years. During that time, no matter when I visited, I never saw anything but respect and kindness shown towards the residents from the staff.


Our experience from February this year, when my mother in law's dementia was well advanced, and

following her breaking her hip, was to see their care go 'above and beyond' what we expected. We had agreed with the doctor that she should just be kept comfortable and stay in bed. However, the staff persevered in managing to get her up in a chair for several hours a day in the residents' lounge, even got her sitting at the table in the dining room, helping her to eat. She had a few more months of a reasonable quality of life.


It was evident that the staff genuinely cared about her well being.
We have no reservations in recommending The Fountains to others.

My mother has been a resident at The Fountains Care Home, Tetney near Grimsby for nearly 2 years since the death of my father. She has severe dementia, diabetes and other age-related medical problems. Her condition is managed extremely well and we are very happy with the overall care she receives.
The staff are caring and friendly and Mum is very happy. She always looks clean and well cared for and has her hair done once a week. She enjoys the activities and is happy to participate. Her room is clean and comfortable and she enjoys sitting in one of the lounges with the other residents. The Fountains is always clean and welcoming and we can visit whenever we like without notice.

So happy with the care my aunt received. A great team of staff who were always respectful, kind, patient and professional. Everyone who works here contributes to making The Fountains feel so homely and I was always confident that my aunt received the best possible care at all times.

We currently have Vacancies at The Fountains Care Centre. We have both Single occupancy and Two Double occupancy rooms for couples available. We also have En-suite toilet facilities available. Please call, visit or email to make an enquiry or to arrange a tour/assessment of our Care Centre. We do also accept Emergency Admissions please contact the care Centre should you require any emergency care support during the night/weekends/bank holidays. Current Availability for Day Care and Pre-Bookable respite. We have recently had refurbishments to bedrooms with new flooring and windows.*We current have 2 x ground floor rooms, one has en suite facility available*We are accepting admissions over the Christmas period, please call the home for any enquiries.

Katie Robinson

Job Title: Registered Manager

Joined: 2023

Registered Manager with over 17 years of experience in health and social care. Katie joined the Fountains Care Centre Family in December 2023 and Gained CQC Registration in May 2024.


Katie is passionate about care and is a great support to the Residents and the whole staff team.


Katie has a wealth of experience with almost 18 years in the health and social care industry, starting in domiciliary care, Nursing homes, Supported Living, Enhanced Dementia Care and then moving on to Residential Care. Katie holds National vocational qualifications and an NCFE level 3 in End-of-life Care. Katie has recently completed Safeguarding Ambassador training with Lincolnshire Care Association in July 2024 and is in the process of completing the Swallowing, Oral Health & Nutrition ambassador course.


Katie has been a Care Assistant, Senior Care Assistant, team leader, deputy manager, unit manager, project manager and registered manager in previous roles and now Katie is our Registered Manager at the Fountains Care Centre


Katie Oversees the day-to-day and general running of the Care Centre to ensure Residents feel safe and supported within their own homes ensuring they have optimum comfort and achieve goals and ambitions.


Katie works closely with the whole team to ensure Fountains Care Centre are delivering great care and also is a supportive and responsible employer.

Job Title: Team Leader

Joined: 2023

Julie joined The Fountains Care Centre in 2023; She has 31 years of experience working within Residential Homes and Nursing Homes. Julie has recently become a Safeguarding Ambassador, completing training with Lincolnshire Care Association.


Julie holds an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.


Julie leads our Skilled Staff team at the Fountains Care Centre and provides managerial support to the manager.


Julie provides person-centred care to all of our residents and is responsible for running the shift when on duty.
