My wife and I found the domestic staff extremely helpful, efficient and friendly throughout our stay - no contact with management. Sad lack of any physio support.

My mum came to the care home under c/o the hospital after 10 weeks in hospital. During this time she became muddled and disoriented, since coming to Claremont she has shown rapid improvement. She is encouraged to eat meals in the dining room and chat to other residents. The staff are all very caring
and supportive. Although she remains totally dependent, we can see moments of the real mum. Thank you.

In general dad has been well looked after, he has been a bit concerned that some of the basics seemed variable. E.g.
Glasses left dirty
Hearing aids fitted but not working
Hair not washed - we did it twice
Feet not washed, dressing not changed - we washed feet. He has been given a shower this week
after my request.

We are sorry that BS has not been happy with some of the aspects of care provided. Following a discussion with myself, the Home Manager, on 22th July 2016, BS felt that these were minor issues and that his Dad has been well looked after on the whole during his time at Claremont. He would be very happy for his father to return to Claremont Parkway and this is something that we will discuss further.

Wonderful staff, nothing too much trouble. Activities good, keep the minds of the residents active. Food good, can cater for most tastes including vegetarians. Rooms large and very clean much like home. Would recommend the home to anyone very welcoming.

My friend has been in this care home for 5 years, never have I had to complain. She is treated extremely well and has always been happy there. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.

I visit my friend on a monthly basis, we know each other from church. The home appears to be very comfortable and suits all of her needs. The staff I have met are friendly and helpful. The lounge area is always occupied by residents albeit most of them are sleeping.

Our mum was moved here on 27th December 2016 until she passed away on 29th February 2016. The care, love and compassion received by both our mum and ourselves was outstanding. All staff were friendly and welcoming, always has time to talk, no matter what time or how busy they were. Nothing was too much
bother for them.

Transferred from K.G.H for rehabilitation and physiotherapy just after Christmas 2015. Room available very comfortable and clean. All staff friendly and helpful, assisted and encouraged now I am able to wash, dress and mobilise short distances independently, still have carer to have showers or baths
as I choose. Food menus have choice and I enjoy cooked breakfast, hot dinners and dessert, tea times choices of hot or cold with suppers before settling down at night can have hot drinks as requested. Enjoyed social chats, group activities, music entertainment and 1-1 nail care with activity team.

My friend has been transferred from 'care' to 'nursing care' this month. Nothing appears to have changed with regards to response time to call button e.g 20-30 minutes sometimes and she is still waiting for too long for medication when requested. She has asked the manager to go and speak to her but
without response. We are constantly having to pacify her because she feels neglected and made to feel a nuisance with the staff. Our observations are that there are so few staff on duty they are seldom available to help her. Staffing shortages affect both residents and the staff themselves!

I would like to express our thanks for the preparations and decoration by the activities organiser for my mother's 96th birthday celebration. The buffet prepared by the chef and catering staff was excellent and the birthday cake was magnificent. Thank you to all concerned.

With extensive experience across nursing, residential care, learning disabilities, mental health, and acquired brain injury services, I bring a comprehensive approach to resident care. I've also trained in reflexology and massage therapy to support the well-being of both residents and staff.

We also make sure everyone has the bed and mattress they need according to their needs. And then I look forward to helping people begin the new day feeling as well as they can. I joined the Claremont Parkway team in 2016.
