Aslockton Hall Nursing & Residential Home specialises in long-term care of the elderly on either a residential or nursing care basis.  Short-term stays can be arranged for respite and convalescent care.  

With over 30 years' experience, Aslockton Hall prides itself on offering a highly professional care service for the elderly, with a personal touch.

Residents need a home where individuality is emphasised, with staff who have time to give attention to small detail and where they have the choice of enjoying the company of like-minded fellow residents.

Aslockton Hall is located just outside of the Village of Aslockton, between the market town of Bingham. This beautiful hall has been carefully extended over time to create the backdrop to a retreat for the elderly which boasts stunning private grounds and opulent rooms with tasteful decor and glorious vistas.

Surrounded by countryside views this is an impressive home with equally impressive care delivered by trained nurses and dedicated carers.

Healthy and nutritious meals are home-cooked on a daily basis, with meals provided to residents personal preferences. The owner of the home believes good meals, and excellent care is fundamental elements of the home to promoting the well being and happiness of the residents.

The care provided is person-centred allowing for personal choice and individual needs and wishes to be attended to in all aspects of the care delivery.

Professional health services are involved with all relevant aspects of care and a weekly GP round is undertaken to ensure the general health of the residents it's well monitored and managed.

There are daily activities which the residents are welcome to be involved with.

My father in law is very hard work at home. His wife is sick and it is an impossible situation. Aslockton Hall has looked after him and his needs exceptionally well. The staff have been fantastic.

As a retired staff nurse, finding a suitable home for my Father was paramount. Although a large building, the atmosphere is incredibly friendly and staff very caring - yes there is always the problem of staff sickness as with any home but management goes to extraordinary lengths to make up the numbers
at short notice to supply good agency carers to ensure patient care is kept of the highest quality. Bathrooms, bedrooms are spotless. Meals are adequate. Perhaps a little repetitive but service is good. However, more attractive to me than anything are the wonderful grounds. The gardens are just beautiful but unfortunately not used to their full advantages. More BBQ's, please.

I have visited here most days since January 2016, and I find it welcoming, calm and sweet-smelling. The owner and directors maintain a high standard of furniture and cleaning. Maintenance is good and the gardens well kept. The permanent staff are efficient, competent and friendly, agency staff are wither
excellent or doubtful. The kitchen provides a varied menu and staff try to ensure that residents are well fed and take on sufficient liquids. Rooms are clean and the laundry service is good.

My father came to Aslockton Hall for respite in early 2019. We were delighted with the standard of care. It is a very warm and friendly place and the staff were wonderful. He had a lovely room with en-suite facilities and the food was excellent and plentiful. If we ever need the services again, we would
definitely come back. We were worried about leaving him but he was looked after wonderfully. The gardens surrounding the Hall are beautiful and peaceful. Thank you.

Aslockton nursing home is the home in every sense of the word of my mother. Approaching my mothers fifth year in residence, my mother has been cared for with dignity, kindness, thoughtfulness and humour. My mother has many friends at the home, staff, residents and even people who are visiting other
residents. The owners and staff are outstanding and I count us extremely fortunate that my mother and myself can have confidence that my mother’s best interests are being served. As I visit daily, the home has become my home from home and no matter what time of day I visit, quiet order and friendliness are evident.

I have been completely satisfied with the care from the nursing side and with help from the management. Dietary needs have been excellent throughout, especially when she is not feeling too good.

The staff at Aslockton Hall were fantastic. They got to know my father over the two years that he lived here and he was incredibly well looked after. They met his needs incredibly well, they made him feel at home and made adjustments to all sorts of things to meet his needs and requirements. The thought
and kindness of the staff during his end of life time was second to none. He was kept incredibly comfortable, his dignity intact and there was a real feeling of fondness towards him and absolute care. Thank you.

My father' s end-of-life care at Aslockton Hall was excellent in every aspect.
All the staff, carers and nurses were kind, professional and showed great compassion and humanism. They treated him with dignity and respect, yet personalised their interactions to ensure that he maintained his cheeky sense
of humour and felt completely at ease with them all. The Aslockton team are empowered in such a way that they all felt comfortable being themselves and engaging with my father as people, rather than as employees which was very gratifying to witness.


As a family, we were kept informed at all times, welcomed on every visit and involved in all decisions relating to my father's care. The cleanliness, catering, grounds and clinical care at Aslockton was superb.
Our dog was just as popular with all the staff as he was with my father!


These little extras exceeded all expectations and certainly make Aslockton Hall a home from home, rather than simply a residential nursing establishment.

Staff are almost without exception: caring, thoughtful, patient, prepared to go the extra mile. Home is very good with regards to hygiene and toileting. Drinks are regularly provided and assistance/prompting given where necessary. Dignity is almost always properly maintained (exception - one carer calling
residents "her" and "them" loudly in front of everyone.)
The grounds/gardens are a lovely asset with encouragement to use them at all times.

My husband has dementia, he has been cared for at Aslockton Hall for two years. He receives care and consideration from willing and pleasant staff who respect his preferences, he is not coerced. Given the nature of his illness he is as comfortable and content as can be. This is 100% better than my
experience of a previous 'care home' whose self promotion was convincing but a travesty of my expectations.

Sarah Durant

Job Title: Home Manager

Joined: 2006

Sarah has worked at Aslockton Hall since 2006. Originally working as a carer and then progressing to team leader before becoming the Residential lead in 2022. In July 2023 Sarah took over as Home Manager of Aslockton following her extensive knowledge of the building and care insights. She continues to maintain good relationships with residents, relatives and staff within the building.


Out of work, Sarah has a passion for theatre especially ballet, biking both on-road and off-road and drywall climbing.


Sarah is a believer in encouraging people to remain active to the best of their abilities throughout their lives and believes this does not have to stop in their final days.

Denisa Bombi

Job Title: Nursing Manager

Denisa is the Aslockton Hall nursing manager. Denisa's role is to manage and support the nursing team in ensuring all the nursing residents' needs are adequately met.


Denisa works full-time within the home and is often found at the nurses station where she is extremely approachable.


Out of work Denisa enjoys social gatherings and has a love of dogs.
