The home has recently been refurbished to incorporate modern and innovative techniques, while being organised with homeliness, comfort and dignity in mind. Extensions mean the home now has 41 single en-suite rooms, four lounge and dining rooms with comfortable character, a dedicated hair salon and sun lounge with shop and bar area, and a safe and enclosed garden area.

The interior is designed to suit the needs of clients, helping them to remain independent and even incorporating themes and decorations to suit the mental health challenges each client faces, for which staff are trained by specialists in best practice.

Loving refurbishment means the home will now have a forty-one room capacity.

I was concerned when my wife had to be admitted as a resident but the friendly atmosphere, the caring and welcoming attitude of all the staff soon set my mind at ease. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are very adept at caring and ensuring my wife is at ease and happily contended in her
environment.

Really pleased with everything. All the staff treat my mum with good care and attention, even singing and dancing with her, especially to make sure when eating, a little song with do the trick. I love everyone and so does Mum. Thanks for all the hard work.

I, as a daughter, was so worried about putting my father into care as you read and hear such bad publicity in the media. But my worries were diminished, the care my father has received in these last months has been absolutely fantastic. From manager, nursing staff, carers, cleaners, and may I add, kitchen
staff have been wonderful. There is not one member of staff that is from the top down to the bottom that anything is too much trouble, everyone seems to go that extra mile. There is always a smiling face from the staff and I imagine that some patients are difficult, but they handle them with a smile, sensitivity and kindness.

Many grateful thanks for the loving care and kindness shown to my sister while she was looked after at Broadgate for the latter part of her life.
Please may I also say a special thankyou to the staff who attended the funeral at Bramcote Crematorium on very dark and cold afternoon.

After a most traumatic time for my husband where he was removed from a nursing home due to gross neglect and safeguarding issues and then five weeks later having 48 hours notice that his new Nursing Home was closing down. My husband moved into Broadgate Nursing Home he has a degenerative neurological
illness and with all the upset he has become very difficult to care for. He can be quite rude and aggressive to the staff, he is refusing to eat and drinking very little, also refusing most of his medication. The staff in this home from the manager, nurses, carers, kitchen and domestic staff have remained very polite, encouraging and tried everything they can to help him. The home is welcoming, clean and friendly and communication to me from them is first class.
