My wife is a resident, but due to covid19 restrictions, unable to have visit. However, able to phone staff for frequent updates on her health and care; staff have been honest with their assessment and gave good feedback.

My nana went into this care home in these difficult times, and the staff have been really good. We have been able to visit at the window, and she always looks happy. The staff always keep us up to date with how she is and are always really caring towards her; this made us feel much better, as a family.

My mum had a fall and went into the hospital, because of this, we were advised she has to have some respite. We chose The Royal as its the closest to us. When she went in for her respite, she seemed really happy and settled. The staff and manager were really reassuring. Mum now lives there full time,
the food great, and she's put weight on. We're very happy as a family.

I’m so happy with the care the team at The Royal provide for Mum. It’s been a tough year for us, but the whole team have kept the spirits of residents high. Mum has dementia and can be difficult at times. She often needs support to eat. The girls are just amazing, nothing seems to phase them. They’re
obviously very well trained. Nothing’s too much trouble.

All the staff at The Royal go above and beyond to care for all the residents in the home. In these difficult times, they are like family to them. I cannot praise the work they do enough. I know my friend is being cared for and treated with respect.

My mum moved to The Royal in November when she required nursing care, which was not available in her previous care home. All the staff at The Royal have treated my mum with care, kindness and respect at all times and have really taken time getting her settled in. They are all welcoming to us as a family,
listening to any concerns we should have. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for somewhere safe for their family member. I'm so thankful she was here during this Covid pandemic.

My father was cared fro by The Royal Care Home and through the most traumatic and awful times we are enduring with coronavirus, the staff without exception have been incredibly caring, warm, kind, thoughtful and professional. Thank you!
Sadly, dad passed away, but his level of care was exemplary.

We use The Royal for respite care for my mum and recently for emergency care. The home is lovely, and the food is varied and there is plenty of it. She is well cared for, all of the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and they update me every time I go to visit. The entertainments lady
is fantastic, as are all the staff. They have a lovely relationship with the residents and families. I visited quite a few homes before I decided on The Royal and I am really pleased we chose it.

Very disappointed in this care home. After seeing the online reviews I placed my parents in this home for 2 weeks respite. On arrival, everything seemed good, friendly staff, lovely manager etc, lots of reassurance and promises of how great it will be for my parents. It turned out to be the opposite
- within the week I had removed my parents from this home and relocated them to a lovely place nearer me. Let's just say since moving them they have flourished. In my opinion, this home does not demonstrate what the reviews suggest - unfortunately, I am unable to go into detail due to their Review Policy.

My father became a resident at the Royal Care Home in November. This care home along with all staff is brilliant! The activities lady is one in a million, I cannot recommend this home enough. Dad is so well cared for by everyone from the manager down to the kitchen staff, hygiene is excellent. Dad is
constantly having food and fluids. Thank you to every one of you at the Royal.

My husband and I will be forever indebted to the wonderful staff at The Royal, who treated my mother-in-law with dignity, respect and so much love. They are so very caring and a credit to their care home. The manager (who has recently left) was excellent, so very caring too. The home was always very
clean and food was lovely. The staff are angels, so pleasant and they treated us, as relatives, equally well. Wonderful.

The care staff are friendly, gentle, sociable and caring. They have a lovely relationship with the residents. My mum has settled in so well and is constantly smiling. She has a beautiful bedroom with photos, pictures etc from her own home. I love how the carers know exactly what all the resident's likes
and dislikes are.
The cleaners and cooks are equally as friendly. A huge weight off my mind to know mum is safe and happy.

The Royal Care Home is one of the most highly respected care homes I could possibly ask for with regards the love and care and respect they not only show my mum but also us as her family.
Previous care homes she had been in sadly couldn't control her mental health needs but she has never had an outbreak
since being in this care home.

I am highly delighted that I chose this home for my Mum, It is clean, her bedroom and bedding/bathroom is always spotless and she is kept very comfortable, safe and secure. I have attended unannounced on many occasions and I have always found the cleanliness to be constant. The staff are very friendly
and helpful and I have seen first hand how well the residents are treated with respect and dignity. You cannot turn this on and off, it is too consistent to be false or for show. The manager is excellent and this reflects upon staff performance. They are well looked after and valued.

Our aunt was a resident in the EMI part of The Royal Care Home in Rossington following her discharge from hospital.
Following what was a difficult and challenging year where aunty had very challenging behaviour which necessitated her admission to hospital on a section of the Mental Health Act.
The
manager and all the staff coped with her very difficult behaviour and managed her condition with great care and professionalism
Their attitude to her and to other residents was exemplary, the staff were well trained and most of all, well led by their manager.
Nothing was too much trouble, the decor was superb, the rooms were a wonderfully good size and with ensuite facilities.
What was a very difficult time for all the family was made bearable by the support we received from the manager and his staff.
We would like to thank the staff for all other dedication and care in our hour of need. It would be no word of exaggeration to say we could not have managed without them.
