After nine years in residence, Dad passed away peacefully. His time in the Royal was like being at home for him as his dementia deteriorated. He was cared for with great care, professionalism and affection.
He was treated with dignity up to his last breath. It was a big relief to know he was looked
after so well.
Thanks to the Royal management and staff.

Having been in assessment home for three weeks prior to going into The Royal I have myself and my family were astounded at the level of care and compassion afforded to my wife compared to that of the assessment home. I don't know if it was down to staff shortage or not well enough trained to care for
patients in the assessment unit but did not stand comparison with The Royal.
