Woodleigh Care Home offers both long and short term care services to residents in an environment which is friendly and homely.

Staff provide round the clock care to residents and always have a fully qualified nurse on duty as well as trained care assistants.

The home has both single and companion rooms on offer for residents, which have been tastefully decorated and furnished throughout. Friends and family are welcome any time into the home and overnight accommodation can be provided for those on longer visits.

Woodleigh Care Home is safe and secure, with specially designed gardens suitable for older people to enjoy spending time in.

Our father was in Woodleigh's care for only two weeks. In that time he, and we, were treated with care, compassion, consideration, respect and dignity. We wish he had had longer to enjoy being there. Thank you to all the staff and management who helped to make a difficult time easier and our father's
death as peaceful and comfortable as we could have hoped.

My mother spent the last five years of her life at Woodleigh and was cared for with compassion, understanding and dignity. The staff perform a difficult task, but it never showed. During my visits from the US, I only ever witnessed excellent care from all staff members. From the kitchen staff, to the
cleaners, to the carers and management; I could not have wished for a better experience for my dear mother.

My father came to stay at Woodleigh in December 2017 (end of life care). He had spent a few weeks in hospital deeply unhappy and unable to go home. Whilst in the care of Woodleigh he had a very happy time and was happy with all his care and loved the kindness of the staff. He passed away with dignity
and pain-free, a happy man.

My father has been in Woodleigh Christian Care Home since December 2016. He has complex health needs and has been very well looked after by both carers and nurses and settled well.
He has been in and out of hospital but each time has been keen to return to Woodleigh and has recovered well. Largely
due to the attention he received at the home.


The staff go out of their way to keep residents happy and looked after and there are activities planned throughout the week. The home is not a new building but the care that I have seen is first rate and that is what is important. I hope this does not change.

My father has been at Woodleigh Christina Care Home for approximately 18 months. Overall I am happy with dad's care and problems that have arisen have been promptly discussed with the management team and have been resolved. During this time the only challenge appears to be continuity of staff and management
that keeps changing. I now feel there is a robust management team in place and hope communication will be maximised at all levels to ensure each resident continues to receive the care they require and deserve

Generally a good care home my dad seems happy here. Has been a resident for 12 months. Home is clean and plenty of staff are available and activities and trips are available if the residents wish to participate. Only complaint is communication issues, messages are not always passed on to other staff,
and requests have to be made 2 -3 times on occasions.

Although my mum was with you for a short time the whole of the team from the cleaners to management were very caring not only to my mum but to members of my family and friends. They are always smiling in what I can only describe as a high pressure job. A special thank you must go to the manager for

Mum has been in Woodleigh since February 2015. She was not 100% happy at having to leave her home at first, but she loves every minute of it now. She has made new friends, with both staff and residents. The staff are very friendly and helpful. When mum has times that she is not well, the staff are very
caring and look after her very well. Activities are very good for all residents who are able to be included, plenty of laughing, which is good for everyone!
Woodleigh is very clean and homely. The manager is a lovely lady and is always available to speak to if you need her, as are all the staff.
Very happy with mums care.

My mother has not had the care expected at previous placement. Looked around various other homes. Arrival on visiting bought myself and daughter to tears. Such a welcoming place. All 4 areas are used with off shoots for personal space or family visits. All areas have drinks, cakes, fruit around. The
staff very polite, friendly, approachable always look happy. Clients look relaxed, well cared for etc. Clients also have option of going on holidays like a real family. The garden is a well maintained relaxed area. In addition pond, waterfall with fish, nice to sit and relax. Day out and visits in local community, weekly board of choices and activities that happen all are involved. Not forgetting family days catered for with garden parties, harvest festivals etc. Weekly meeting for choir all enjoy, also helps client with lung problems. The choir is of such that its in various national projects. My mother has certainly changed looking her best in years and less time in hospital.

I feel that here at Woodleigh we put emphasis on each resident as an individual, promoting their choices and enabling them to maintain links with the wider community. There is a wide activities programme and all staff work together to encourage people to continue their long-term hobbies and take up new ones.


I believe the only way to achieve the very best care, is to have a well-trained and dedicated staff team, all of whom possess all the core values and beliefs that I and the company feel are essential to be a part of the Woodleigh Care Home.
