The team at Bright Meadows Care Home provide residential, nursing convalescent, palliative and respite care for up to 120 residents.

All bedrooms are en suite, maintaining and promoting dignity for residents and allowing as much independence as possible. There is also a spacious dining area where residents can enjoy freshly prepared meals, a café to encourage socialisation between residents and their loved ones, and a music room where residents can enjoy listening to their favourite tracks. Outside the home there is a courtyard with established greenery and places to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air.

The home also has a specialist dementia unit, ensuring residents living with dementia receive the care and attention they need in a part of the home that has been carefully designed for safety, comfort and to help retain skills.

First christmas at Bright Meadows, I was very anxious at this thought. We saw family in the morning, and the rest of the day was great, great christmas dinner with other residents and their families, music, singing and dancing. The staff made a masive difference to our christmas day. Thank you winter
unit and to all carers who worked hard christmas day to make it enjoyable, for everyone.

I am very happy with the care my wife receives from the care staff. All the staff spend as much time as they can to chat and attend to her needs, nothing seems to be much trouble. We both had Christmas dinner at the home and it was lovely. The meal was first class, credit to the chef! Even though it
was Christmas, the staff worked really hard and were cheerful. We really enjoyed it. Thanks very much.

A very pleasant experience, the staff were very nice and helpful. I have been to see my friend regularly and he is very well looked after and treated with respect. Rooms are kept very clean. I can't speak highly enough of the care home.

The overall experience has always been excellent, from walking through the front door at reception to when I come back out again. All the staff, reception, cleaners, carers, are really good, very helpful and are willing to do anything for residents and visitors. I have never seen anything other than
caring staff and the place is always spotless. The staff should be very proud as this type of job is not easy and my mind is at rest knowing my friend is receiving such good care.

My husband was admitted to Bright Meadows Care Home in the middle of August 2024. I was very surprised when entering the building to my husband's bedroom, no nasty smells, everywhere is clean and bright. The whole care team greeted me with a warm, friendly smile and polite conversation. My worries and
concerns have all gone. He is receiving excellent care and wants to stay forever.

I have been visiting my mum for one week. She is happy here which is down to the environment and the staff. Everything appears very clean and tidy. The lounge and Mum's room are bright and airy, and the en-suite is a real bonus. Overall my first impressions are very good. Never been during meal times
so I can't comment on the food, but Mum said it's very good.

Not the best, each time I visit it's not clean, not enough carers. Most carers are lovely and caring, some aren't. The sensory room is a great idea. The residents need more attention i.e so many carers to so many residents. I feel most of the time the carers are all together in one place, instead of
being spread. This would help with things like accidents.

My wife seems settled. She has a nice room, staff very helpful, home looks nice and clean, staff also very polite. Outside areas are clean and tidy.

In general, the care is adequate but lacking people-centered care.
Reception staff are always welcoming and engaging.
On the whole, carers seem to lack insight into the little things, such as maintaining dignity by ensuring face is clean etc. Management are not visible enough and communication could
definitely improve.

Overall, a very positive place with staff who are kind and compassionate (re. permanent staff). There are lots of activities, birthdays are celebrated, lovely vies of the very well-kept gardens.
It has taken a while but my mother is calm here and I am so happy with Bright Meadows Care Home.

My wife has been a resident for 17 months. During this time, the care home has taken very good care of my wife. The room is excellent and we have been allowed to decorate the walls with pictures and photos. The en suite room is a big bonus. The staff are friendly and very efficient, providing activities.
