The team at Bright Meadows Care Home provide residential, nursing convalescent, palliative and respite care for up to 120 residents.

All bedrooms are en suite, maintaining and promoting dignity for residents and allowing as much independence as possible. There is also a spacious dining area where residents can enjoy freshly prepared meals, a café to encourage socialisation between residents and their loved ones, and a music room where residents can enjoy listening to their favourite tracks. Outside the home there is a courtyard with established greenery and places to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air.

The home also has a specialist dementia unit, ensuring residents living with dementia receive the care and attention they need in a part of the home that has been carefully designed for safety, comfort and to help retain skills.

My dad has been in Four Seasons for nearly two years - his care has been very good, and he always seems happy. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. We, as a family, feel we made a good choice with Four Seasibs. We hope the activities return when they can after Covid.

Mum has been in Four Seasons since 2012 when she had a brain hemorrhage. The staff have always looked after her really well and even though she no longer really communicates they always chat with her and make her feel involved. Since covid, the home has been providing video calls and the staff are always
happy to arrange them and trying to keep us in touch. I managed to go up and see her before the new lockdown around Christmas (as mum is unable to do window visits) and the home looked clean and the residents seemed happy and covid rules were being adhered to. Always keep me informed of issues relating to mums health and wellbeing.

I would just like to say how appreciative I am of the care staff at Four Seasons summer unit, it has been extremely difficult and upsetting not being able to see my auntie on a weekly basis as previously, due to this horrible pandemic, but modern technology to the rescue along with the care and compassion
of the team. A big thanks to the well-being team and the others in organising window visits and face time calls, I don’t know where my auntie and myself would be with out the weekly catch-ups. Thanks to staff for sending me photos and arranging all the calls. Well done four seasons keep up the good work.

I just thought that I would write a few words about my peace of mind whilst my Father-in-Law is away from us during Coronavirus. The wellbeing team is in regular contact using WhatsApp, making our next appointment at the end of our call, brilliant system. Not only the well-being team are a vital part
of care, but, the whole team from bottom to top doing a remarkable job under very difficult circumstances. I say to all thank you.

It was my father's 96th birthday on the 9th of December 2020. I had a videocall booked with him at 3.00pm through the carers that deal with this.
I saw that my dad had a banner up behind him saying " Happy Birthday " which I thought was wonderful. Whilst I was on the video call to him the carers brought
him a birthday cake complete with candles. They then proceeded to sing " Happy Birthday " to him, oh his face was a picture! He looked thrilled to bits! They then brought him a piece of cake which he thoroughly enjoyed. He was more interested in the cake than talking to me! A few days later I received photos of this occasion.
I really appreciated this gesture.

My dad is being very well cared for due to all the great staff that help to keep him smiling. Since Covid, the team and the Well-being team, in particular, have been fantastic. It's been great to see photos of dad looking through the memories book that the carer helped me to create. I also love the
weekly WhatsApp video calls and I feel like dad does too. The staff have got all sorts of added stuff to do just now to keep everybody safe and they deserve maximum credit and all of our sincere thanks for their great work.

My Aunty has been at the Home since September 2019, sadly she has now passed over this week. During her time at Four Seasons, she was well cared for, happy, safe and felt loved. The staff are marvellous doing a very difficult job at the moment, but they are still full of enthusiasm. I would 100%
recommend this Home, they go `above and beyond' and really do care for their residents. I can only have praise for the marvellous staff and thank them for making my Aunt's time there so special. Just before lockdown in February my Aunty celebrated her 90th there and enjoyed a party organised by the well-being team. The team made the party so special and memorable, thanks so much for doing that.
I hope to go back and thank them all in person once the Covid situation has improved, but in the meantime, thanks so much, keep up the marvellous work, it is very much appreciated !!

My mum had been a resident on Summer Unit for the last six years until she sadly passed away in June this year.
The outstanding care and respect that Mum received over the years was evident during the days prior to her passing away.
Every member of staff at Four Seasons treated Mum with the utmost
care, dignity and professionalism.
As a family, we were comforted and supported by a team who, as always, went above and beyond.

My Aunt has had vascular dementia and Alzheimers for 11 years and after spending several months in hospital, moved into the Four Seasons Care home. My Aunt receives good care and is treated with respect. She is settled and content in her new home. Family visits are welcomed and any concerns raised are
addressed immediately.

From my experience lately, the unit is being run better than it has been for many years of us being here. If I can't make it for some reason they will be cared for which I haven't felt for a while. There will always be little niggles but when mentioned soon put right!!

My mother has been a resident at Autumn Berry for over 2 years. The care and understanding provided by the unit manager and the Autumn Berry team is without doubt incredible. Sadly my mother fell frequently in January due to a deterioration in her Alzheimer's, however, the attention, care and compassion
provided by all relevant staff have been greatly appreciated by me, as my mum has been given the help and assistance needed. I live in Leicestershire, a long way from Bolton, but am fully confident with the care provided to my mum. Thanks to everyone involved with my mother's care and welfare. HC One - thanks for providing a magnificent care home - you need to be very proud of all your Four Seasons staff.

As a family we are extremely happy with the care mum receives at the Winter Unit, the staff are excellent in particular the unit manager. Perhaps more activities would be beneficial and increase stimulation for the residents.

In the 5 1/2 years my husband has been a resident here I have been really happy with his care. The staff that are based on the unit where my husband resides are so friendly and caring, they also look out for me and take care of my welfare as well. Not only the staff on the unit but activities, laundry,
kitchen and, not forgetting management, all make us feel welcome at the home.
