The team at Bright Meadows Care Home provide residential, nursing convalescent, palliative and respite care for up to 120 residents.

All bedrooms are en suite, maintaining and promoting dignity for residents and allowing as much independence as possible. There is also a spacious dining area where residents can enjoy freshly prepared meals, a café to encourage socialisation between residents and their loved ones, and a music room where residents can enjoy listening to their favourite tracks. Outside the home there is a courtyard with established greenery and places to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air.

The home also has a specialist dementia unit, ensuring residents living with dementia receive the care and attention they need in a part of the home that has been carefully designed for safety, comfort and to help retain skills.

I know this home has had some bad write ups but my mum is happy here, so if she's happy we are. The staff are very good if I have a grievance I speak to the staff and it gets resolved. On the whole, I have no complaints.

When my husband was in another home it was hard for me seeing day today running and the location of the home wasn't suitable. My husband and our son and family are very satisfied and it's a pleasure to come visiting.

The care my friend had in this care home was second to none. He was looked after as if he was one of their own. The care staff, admin team, maintenance team, kitchen and domestics could not have done any more for him. The manager was fantastic, and could not do enough for the family. I would recommend
this home to anybody who wanted there relative to be looked after as an individual.
Some residents went out to the cinema, and the buzz of them returning was absolutely fantastic, the activities they do is amazing.

My elderly mother came to Four Seasons Care Home Summer unit in December 2017. She was an NHS Fastrack patient for end of life care. I had always worried about placing mum in a home, however, all of my worries and preconceptions were completely alleviated at Four Seasons Care Home. From day one, everyone
was kind, courteous and put mum and her best interests first. Nothing was too much trouble.
Her room was lovely and spacious and modern. Mum loved the activities.
On Christmas day, I was invited to have my Christmas dinner with mum as they realised how important being with mum was. When mum neared the end of her life, the care was exceptional, regular pressure area care, palliative medicine when needed with no delay. I stayed with mum for the duration and their care for me as a family member was wonderful. Mum died peacefully with dignity and that is because of the loving care demonstrated by all at Four Seasons Care Home. Thank you.

Having visited today 13th Nov 2017 as a representative for a resident I feel impelled to say how fantastic I found this home, the staff and the Home Manager. The home is always clean and tidy, the staff always polite and welcoming. There is always something going on, some activity or other every time
I have visited in the past. I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone.

I came to visit my uncle yesterday, and could not believe the difference in him from a few weeks ago in hospital, he was looking well, and said how happy he was. All the staff were very helpful as were the ladies in the offices and the manager.

I visited my great granddad (Papa) recently at this care home on a special unit for people who have just come out of the hospital. My Papa was very worried about going to this home, you just think of these places with dread. The staff could not have made any of my family feel more welcome. The food
was fantastic, and he even enjoyed a person coming in singing to everyone. It is likely that he is going to need to go in a home in the future, and this place has now alleviated the fears as a family we had. If we need to look at a home in the future this is one we would consider, and would highly recommend to our friends. Thank you, everyone, for the good care you gave Papa.

I visited my friend today on Summer unit, how lovely, the manager greeted me with a lovely smile, I then went up to the floor and all the staff were very friendly, my friend told me how much she likes the home, and in particular a young care staff member, her room is lovely, and is always clean and
tidy every time I visit, and all the staff, there is always lots of things for her to do. What a lovely place.

The staff are all very kind and helpful both to my Dad, who is living there and to my Mum and family visiting. My Mum, in particular, is made to feel very welcome. The food, staff and entertainment are all very good and we would recommend Four Seasons.

I go every day to see my husband. Staff are welcoming and any concerns are dealt with by staff or management. My husband is well cared for and is engaged in activities most days. I am welcome to join in with anything. It is hard leaving him at the end of the afternoon but I know he is in good hands.

Due to difficulties in recruiting permanent staff during 2014-2015, 15 agency staff were used and a dip in standards ensued. However, a new manager was appointed and together with the appointment of new permanent staff Four Seasons has been brought back to its original excellent standards.
