Ringway Mews Care Home is situated in the peaceful residential community of Sharston in Wythenshawe.

My mother has lots of needs but in my opinion, the home has cared for her superbly. We as a family are always made to feel welcome and absolutely nothing seems to much trouble for them. I feel at last very much at ease knowing my mother is safe, secure, and well cared for.

Very pleased with my dad's care. Encountered a few teething problems initially but these were swiftly dealt with and resolved. All staff deserve medals for their care and understanding. Recently refurbished too.

My nan has been a resident for around 3 months, previous to this she was in another care home where she deteriorated very quickly! She was in hospital for around 2 months and after being transferred to Ringway she is thriving!! She has her own personal room which is lovely! The staff are amazing and
give her attention and dignity! Every time we visit the staff are chatting with her, they are fantastic! My nan is so much happier now she's here! She's in the EMI unit so she requires a lot of care and I honestly can not fault this care home! It's a clean and lovely place, they have a lovely day room for residents and the food always goes down a treat with my nan! Very grateful and happy with the excellent care and support! 5 stars!

My husband has been very well cared for since his admission to Shackleton House in July 2015. He suffers from cardio-vascular Dementia which has worsened rapidly since a chest infection last January. Our family chose Ringway Mews as it offers purpose built ground floor accommodation with a private room
where he could retreat and an enclosed garden. In previous Respite stays in other homes, there were problems with his safety using lifts/stairs and going outside for fresh air. He can no longer walk so has to stay more in the communal areas but he praises the staff and the food. Whenever our family has visited we have found him clean, less agitated and the staff are always welcoming and cheerful.

I have been here at Ringway Mews for close to 12 years, supporting many residents over this time.


I have a lovely daughter who has a fierce love for life.
I enjoy travelling the world with my nearest and dearest.


Heather joined Ringway Mews as Home Manager because she shares Springcare’s vision of aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every resident. She extends this caring approach to her colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home

I'm a Mum to a little boy, who I love trying new things alongside.


I've worked in Ringway Mews for nearly 6 years now, originally starting as a care assistant, working my way through to nursing assistant then to Care Manager for Ringway Mews.


I work here because I love being able to provide the support and care any resident needs and also learning on the job all the time, I love being the relationship maintainer between families and us at Ringway as every family has a different experience with the social care system and I enjoy being able to discuss and support.
