I have not been here very long, but the food is good. My room is clean. The staff are nice and friendly, always trying to help. No complaints at all.

My Granma now lives in this care home, Granma was taken in from hospital and looked after very well. The managers, and one in particular, have been a godsend. I have not seen my Granma for 35 years and I located her in hospital after a family member passing, this manager goes out of her way to help
me stay in contact with my Granma throughout Covid and also our 75 miles distance. Granma is happy and says the staff take good care of her and I am sure we would hear about it if anything were wrong. Thank you so much for all of your help in these awful times but make it easier for a family to stay connected, we even had a window visit one day which was lovely too. Amazing.

My mother was a resident in a nursing bed for a few years. Due to the lockdown, the family were not allowed in, only when my mam was dying, I was allowed in and my mam had three sons and two more daughters, also grandchildren, but they could not see my mam. The six months apart from my mam she had gone
downhill, lost weight and she was laid in such an uncomfortable position. Before the lockdown, she looked fine, lying straight in her bed, but when I was allowed in, she looked uncomfortable. I wasn't happy.

May I extend my earnest condolences on the passing of your Mother, and also my thanks for taking the time to write this review at what must be a very difficult time. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus pandemic, we were unable to facilitate visits to the home, as we were following Government guidelines. Sadly, there had been a marked change and deterioration in your Mother’s condition by the time you were able to see her, and this must have come as a shock to you. I would like to reassure you that you Mother received appropriate, kind care at all times and she was kept comfortable at the end of her life. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention; the wellbeing of our residents is of paramount importance to us at all times.

My father has been here for over 12 months now and the care has been up and down it depends which staff are on duty. The care home definitely is understaffed and residents are left waiting to been seen to. Also, Communication has been horrendous at times. However, a new care manager has joined the team
and in just two weeks has turned this place around. She has gone out of her way to ensure communication is key and has kept me up to date every few days with his condition and even sent a photo of my dad so I could send to the rest of the family. She also arranged a window visit after a long 8 months, which I was very grateful for and put my mind at rest that he was well and being looked after. The small things matter and I now have faith that he is well and someone has his best interest at heart. Thank you to the Manager. My scores are based on the new Manager joining the team.

My mother at present is a resident in the care home. The staff are exceptional and go out of their way to help and keep you up to date with what is happening and in my case the progress that my mother is making. Nothing is a problem for them and whatever you ask they will do, one example being a window
visit due to present conditions. They are a great team and have a warm caring nature.

Mum was very happy at Chorlton Place as was all the family. The care and attention given to her was fantastic. All delivered with love and devotion. Any person who spends time here towards the end of their life is one of the lucky ones never forgotten.

Since my father-in-law has moved in, he has felt at home very quickly. They have got to know his needs, when he needs help and when he wants to be left alone. The family are also made to feel welcome at any time. Excellent care home.

Happy with care mum receives in general but mum has started to display signs of depression this month as she is bipolar and have some concerns if staff fully understand my mum's condition as they have not witnessed my mum's illness before.

My aunt seems very happy and settled prior to previous places. There is always someone around when she comes out of her room. Cosy, little rooms, not enough wardrobe.
Very approachable and friendly staff, always willing to help. Clean environment and nice open space.
Choice of food could have a wider
range.
I can relax knowing that she is very well cared for. So I can have a couple of days break from visiting.
Very satisfied with the care and treatment she is receiving.

Amazing staff, especially three ladies in particular, who have made my grandma's stay so much more comforting. They couldn't do enough for her, always making sure her make-up and hair are done. Very clean and tidy. The food has really improved since the new chef has arrived.

My mother has been here since April 18.
I have visited her 2-3 times per week.
The staff are very good and have a good relationship with the residents. The nursing staff are equally caring.
I cannot find any fault at all with Chorlton Place.

My auntie came into Chorlton Place care home in April this year following a six-week stay in hospital for a severe chest infection. Her son and I are very satisfied with her care, we find all the staff are caring and professional. Everywhere is clean and tidy and the food is excellent. She seems very
