The Mews has been my brother’s home for nine years. During this time he has received care and support from some genuine, kind and professional staff who work extremely hard to make him comfortable. They know his needs and are willing to spend time ensuring he can watch his favourite TV shows, listen
to music and the football!
My brother has had the same nursing staff for many years and they have built a relationship with all of us which gives us great peace of mind.
The Mews has warmth and friendliness, we are always welcomed. A member of the nursing staff attended with my brother to our dad’s funeral ensuring he was looked after and could be involved, this was invaluable to us and our family. My late dad often talked about the staff in glowing terms and their selfless attitude to the care they provide on a daily basis. Whilst The Mews itself is not a fancy establishment, it is filled with knowledgeable staff providing a safe and caring environment for which we are very grateful.

My wife only required nursing home care towards the end of her life, and moved to The Mews following a poor experience at another home: what a difference! The staff, from the management down, are extraordinary. They are cheerful, friendly and, most important of all, good at what they do, which is providing
a homely, caring environment for residents and visiting relatives alike. In the short time we were there we were made to feel like family, and the care and attention they put into looking after my wife was exceptional. I cannot sing their praises loudly enough. They made what could have been an extremely traumatic experience, not only bearable, but, in a strange way, almost a pleasure. Thank God I found them in time.

Reply from Martin Donovan, Manager at The Mews

Thank you for your very kind words which will be passed onto all of the staff team, I am sure I speak for all the staff when I say that being trusted to care for people is a privilege. Keep in touch!

Fenton Mews has been my second home for more than 20 years as we have watched my Mum's MS progress from bad to worse. Whilst the decor has changed more times than I can remember, the staff have not. Every visit to see mum was made whole by interactions with the team. Such kind people doing such amazing
work, I could not think of a better place for mum to have been beyond the reasonable time she was at home. Genuine dedication to each resident and a selfless attitude towards work that needs doing. I will be forever grateful for the tenderness and care they showed my mum.
