We are already aware that the decoration does require some updating and this is an ongoing project with some areas of the home already completed. We also note your comments in regard to the cleanliness of the home and this is something which we will be monitoring closely.

Job Title: Care Home Managers
I started my nursing training in 1986 and have worked in the care sector ever since, becoming the manager at Millfield in 2018.
I always wanted to do something medical and to teach, and I am extremely lucky to have had a career in which I have been able to fulfil both of my ambitions. I have been a nurse in both the NHS and the private sectors and have lectured in the adult education sector.
My "personal" motto is: “Treat others how you wish to be treated yourself”. It is of the utmost importance that our residents are always treated with respect and dignity, and that they enjoy an enriching and fulfilling experience at Millfield.
I am married with two grown-up children and love to read, cycle and walk my dog. I am also a trustee of a local charity that runs six nurseries.
