What does ‘kindness’ mean to you?
“Ensuring that all Residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their needs are met. Making Stamford Court their home and involving them in the day to day routine of the home.”
As a Registered Nurse for over 30 years, Sue has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.
Having worked at Stamford Court since 2019, Sue closely shares HC-One’s vision is aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Stamford Court, Sue said:
“I live locally and have other family members that live in the area. I also help out at the local Brownie group which gives me links to the local church and schools, so we can be at the heart of our local community.”
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Sue remarked:
“Working as a team, chatting to Residents and getting to hear their stories.”
Outside of work, Sue likes to travel and enjoys spending time with her beautiful grandchildren.
