Thank you for taking the time to complete a review. We really value the feedback provided by those who use our services. With regards to your concerns about management in the home, the new Home Manager has a wealth of experience managing HC-One homes. We understand how difficult it is for Residents, relatives and staff to accept change, particularly when a member of staff has been with the company for a long time, but we hope you will give the new manager time to settle in, get to know and support her to develop and enhance the excellent service provided to Residents at Carrington Court. She has already spoken to staff about your concerns who have reflected on how better we all approach issues raised by families.
At HC-One we have a catering team to ensure that Residents have a choice of highly nutritious menus to meet their individual dietary needs. Safety and security are paramount and we have vigorous inspections to ensure we maintain high standards. If there are any specific concerns the manager will be happy to discuss them with relatives individually, as she has an open door policy.
Thanking you again for taking the time to provide really helpful feedback about the home. We value all feedback and ensure it is recorded and acted upon.

Introducing Rebecca Asprey
Home Manager at Carrington Court, Wigan

enables you to support them through difficult times.”
As a Registered Nurse, Rebecca has
gained over 15 years’ experience in
providing care and support for older
people to enrich their lives. She is a
knowledgeable and committed leader
who is passionate about delivering the
highest possible standards in care and
quality of life for Residents.
Rebecca joined Carrington Court as
Home Manager as she closely shares
HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the
kindest care for each and every Resident.
She uses her experience to motivate her
team to deliver care and support in a way
that Residents gain the most benefit, in a
warm and welcoming home.
She also works hard to arrange events
and activities with nearby organisations
and is always quick to welcome the local
community to Carrington Court.
When asked what she enjoys most about
her role, Rebecca remarked:
“I really enjoy the staff development side
of my role - seeing potential in someone,
recognising their skills and increasing
their confidence so they can fulfil their
potential.”
