We offer Male only, Female only and mixed unit and include residential and Nursing Residents We do accept joint funding (NHS & Council) We also accept residents from outside the Wigan Borough.
We are the only nursing home in the Wigan area that pride ourselves on separate female & male units.
Our fees do include accommodation, meals, laundry service and we have a full time activity coordinator.
We have a hairdresser who visits once a week at an additional cost, and we can facilitate additional services such as Podiatry, Optician, Audiologist.
If wishing to visit St Georges Nursing home, please book an appointment to arrange for one of the staff to be available for a show round. Monday - Friday up to 3pm

Thank you for the review, we are aiming to improve our service all the time. With me as a new manager, all staff are getting training relating to contacting family and we will make sure this happens in future. The issue relating to the lift is been resolved now. But in the case of an emergency (fire), we are not allowed to use the lift because of fire regulations.
Both entrance doors are locked during the night and during the day, the office staff will be available for help.
