I have found this care home to be most suitable for my mother. The staff are courteous although some of the seniors neglect to call me if my mother has an issue, other are more diligent. My main concern is safety and security the lift is regularly out of order not acceptable in case of fire and the
idea of "sliding" residents downstairs on a cushion is ludicrous. The entrance to doors are a hazard as the outer door does not lock and the inner doors don't lock if they're closed the wrong way Insecure!

Thank you for the review, we are aiming to improve our service all the time. With me as a new manager, all staff are getting training relating to contacting family and we will make sure this happens in future. The issue relating to the lift is been resolved now. But in the case of an emergency (fire), we are not allowed to use the lift because of fire regulations.
Both entrance doors are locked during the night and during the day, the office staff will be available for help.
