Sadly, when people are living with advanced dementia their behaviour is often unpredictable and they can be at risk of harm to themselves and to others, particularly when they are in unfamiliar surroundings. During your fathers stay at Alt Park he was receiving 1:1 care which was provided for 20 hours per day. We are working with the relevant external professional bodies to ensure the matter is thoroughly investigated and we look forward to receiving the outcome.

Jewin Vellara Edwin is the Manager of Alt Park with many years of care experience. Jewin is very experienced in the care home sector and is committed to providing a high–quality service. He has a passion for supporting those with dementia and mental health needs and is a hands-on manager who often spends time working alongside staff with residents.
Jewin is ultimately responsible for the effective and professional running of the care home but will allocate time to discuss any aspect of our Residents care or any problems they may be experiencing. Jewin is keen to work closely and in partnership with our Residents, their relatives and significant others to benefit the Residents in his care. He is a dynamic team leader and has an ongoing interest in professional development and career progression.
