My sister has now been a resident at Churchview for over three years. Her care has been outstanding and unfortunately recently her health has deteriorated. The manager and staff have tried their best to make my sister as comfortable as possible the past few weeks and have been in constant contact with
me as I live quite a distance from the area. When I visited yesterday I was so comforted to see how they were managing her care. Thank you so much to all the amazing staff for their care and attention.

The care given to my mother is outstanding. She is happy and content. Nothing is too much trouble. The staff are caring and considerate and the manager runs the home like it's an extended family.
She is happy to join in the activities and has a lovely relationship with the staff.

This home is like no other home. Everyone is like one big family. The staff are amazing, the manger is fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. They go that extra mile, food is good. Friend's mum looks like different person after only 3 months, the change in her is all down to amazing staff.

The home is one of the best we have visited and are very happy about the care that our member of the family is receiving. The staff are very kind and caring to the people they are in charge of. The home is very clean all the time, there is entertainment at various times to keep things on the up. The
food is of a very good standard.

This home is like no other home. Everyone is like one big family. I couldn't have booked a better home for my dad. The maintenance man doesn't stop, all the residents call him by a different name every day. Manager's door is always open if you need her for anything! The whole team cannot do enough to
help.

My husband moved into Church View Nursing Home on 1st of August 2024. I can honestly say he has had the best of care in there, every member of staff from the senior nursing to the cleaners have been so caring to my husband who has a brain injury and is immobile. I thank the home manager for running
a really friendly and caring home. My husband had been in a previous home that resulted in him being hospitalised after only 9 days with pneumonia and pressure sores, I am so thankful he has now been placed in Church View. I would definitely give five stars.

It's never easy picking the right nursing home for your loved ones especially when there are so many horror stories out there. So when the time came to choose one for my Grandad it was important we found the best one and did a lot of research into each home that was suggested. We finally agreed on church
view and we couldn't have picked a better home for him to spend his final few months. I just want to thank all the fab staff that work there it was nice seeing my Grandad happy in the home and it helped him come out of his shell. They all made us feel welcome and part of the family from the minute he arrived and it eased our nerves about him having to go into a home. The care and compassion my Grandad and the family received right up to the end from all the staff was amazing and we couldn't wish for a better place for him to spend them final months.

Dad has been here for a couple of months now and can honestly say the staff have been great. They are hands-on and nothing seems trouble for them, they kept us informed when Dad's medication was changed by the doctor, and the place is spotless clean and has recently been refurbished. There is entertainment
and even some aspects of gardening and residents can enjoy the summer sun outside. The food is prepared and cooked well with a varied menu.

Mum had been diagnosed 'end of life' whilst in hospital; she could not return to her residential care home and required residency at a nursing home.
Palliative care team/hospital discharge nurse contacted me to let me know that Churchview where happy to accept her.
Following a visit, I decided that
it met Mum's requirements and the staff were very receptive to any questions I had.
Unfortunately, within 2 days of settling in, Mum passed away.
My review is based on the professionalism and duty of care that the staff (and manageress) gave to Mum whilst waiting for her to be taken to funeral directors.
Staff could not have done any more to ensure she was prepared (cleaned and dressed) for funeral directors.
I am forever in debt to Churchview; knowing they did their best for her.

What a fantastic home. My mum has been here for 4 weeks and it is amazing. The staff are fab. They can't do enough for the residents. My mum has dementia and she's loving it. I feel so relaxed and happy because was worrying about her going to a nursing home.
Love it. The manager and staff are brilliant.

My great-aunt moved to Church View in December 2023. The care from staff has been fantastic. They’re compassionate, respectful and hold her in high regard. They’ve got to know my auntie and nothing is too much trouble for them. The home is clean and fresh and has a great atmosphere. The manager, another
particular member of staff and all the team work hard to make Church View a great care home to look after loved ones. I’d highly recommend Church View if you’re looking for a care home. Thanks to everyone who works at Church View for everything you do to look after our auntie.

After several hard and intense months, we moved my mother-in-law into Church View Nursing & Residential Home. In the short amount of time, I've seen her become herself again. Her health is finally being taken care of; her well-being and personality are shining again... something I thought we might lose
after her long stay in the hospital. From day one, staff have looked after her with dignity and respect; when we visit we can see them being kind and compassionate to all residents. The care and support from all is exceptional. The communication and updates from management have blown us away. My mother-in-law now has a social life, days out and about, gets her hair done regularly and attends social functions provided by the amazing team. She's safe, happy and we, as a family, can't thank the team enough!

My mum moved to Church View Nursing & Residential Home a couple of weeks ago. Prior to this, she had been in hospital for four months and we almost lost her and we were worried about the future as she needed long-term care. Church View has been incredible! The manager is brilliant and all the staff
are professional, highly skilled and are just a brilliant team. In the last couple of weeks, Mum has regained so much independence because of the team at Church View. Whenever we visit, we are always welcomed, Mum is always well dressed and drinks/food are always visible. She has sat in a chair and been out and about for a pub lunch for the first time in months. She even started singing at the Easter party! As a family, we can leave her and know that she is safe and well cared for. Her medical and nursing care is excellent. This is all a family can ask for and we know that Mum is in amazing hands! Thank you.

It's a very hard choice you have to make when you have to find a home for your mum or dad but I needn't have worried Church View is amazing my dad has been in there since November 2023 and I go every day and without fail, it's always a warm welcome off the staff they do an amazing job, clean and tidy
lovely food and they do activities with the residents like movie afternoons, days out, gardening or seeing to the rabbits they have, singers singing the old classics, raffles etc., it's a big weight off my mind knowing my dad is being looked after more than I ever could.

It is hard to write after just losing our beloved mum who has been in church view for twelve months. But we wanted to let you know how fantastic, supportive and loving (especially in our hour of need ) all the staff are, from the manager (who leads brilliantly) to all fifty staff who work there. This
care home should be given ten stars not five. We as a family cannot thank everybody enough for their love they gave to our mum and we looked upon them as our extended family. The care Mum received throughout her stay has been brilliant, but when it mattered most to us, staff went over and above to make Mum's journey more peaceful. We cannot write names in this review but the staff know who they are and we thank you. It is going to be hard not going into the home every day, but if people are looking for a care home for their loved one we would recommend this home 100%. Once again a big thank you, everyone.

This care home is amazing. My auntie has lived there for a while now and oh my goodness do they go above and beyond. I have visited on numerous occasions and my auntie is so well looked after with genuiness, care, dignity and respect at all times. Her behaviour can be challenging however the staff are
just incredibly patient and understanding of her needs nothing is ever too much trouble. There are always activities going on to assist their independence and help them to continuously make new friends. Yesterday was her 80th birthday and wow did they make her feel special, in fact, they made all the family and residents feel special too. We all had the most amazing time food, music costumes, decorations the lot - just incredible. Churchview, you are fantastic!The team and management personally I can't thank you enough knowing my auntie is so well looked after you are all true living angels.
