My husband is getting the best care from the super staff at Church View Nursing & Residential Home. They are so patient kind, cheerful and professional.
Looking for a suitable home for him was so traumatic and scary.
The home is clean and fresh.
All the staff work so hard. Yet there are lots of
smiles.
The manager has gone to great lengths to make my husband feel part of the "family", asking about his interests and encouraging him to socialise.
He has had very disturbed sleep for a long time and she has had the doctor to view his medication. He now says he is sleeping well.
Five of my family have been in care homes over the last few years. I can honestly say Church View is the best by a long way.
A big thank you to the manager and all her staff.

Very pleased with the care given to my father-in-law. I love the way the staff banter with him and make him smile. They make a fuss of him and help him without making him feel as if they don't want to. I have also seen staff interact in a positive way with other residents.

There are not enough words for how much I want to thank the manager and her team. The last twelve months my mum was so well looked after, my mind was completely at rest. The home is immaculate, the staff are friendly and helpful and most of all caring. Never a dull moment for the residents, always activities
so that everyone is occupied. I have now lost my mum and the compassion and care I have felt is second to none. She was well-loved by what I can only say the Church View family because that's how it feels..they are family. I would highly recommend Church View to anyone who has loved ones who need care. I was with my mum when she passed and I can't thank the staff enough for the help and support they gave me and to the manager for helping with my arrangements. It truly is an amazing place and they'll always feel like family to me. Home is where the heart is and Church View is full of heart.

My dad loved living here, sadly he passed away on 9th Nov but his time here was the best for him, I've never seen my dad laugh in a long time, especially sing. The manager and the staff and nurses are a lovely bunch of carers, even the worky dude cared for my dad. Thank you Church View.

My Grandad was very well looked after in his final months at this care home. He, along with all the other residents were all treated with kindness and dignity. The staff all went above and beyond to look after him and they had a great report with him, which really makes the difference. We were kept
informed when necessary in-between visits which gave us all peace of mind. All the staff were genuinely lovely and did their best to look after the residents from what I could see when I visited and I would recommend this home to anyone. It's not an easy job to do but I'm so glad they have taken care to employ such caring people.

We are so very grateful to the home, they treated my grandad with kindness, respect and dignity. It was like he was part of the Church View family and it gave us peace of mind to know he was not only looked after but cared for. His stay was some of the best months and we have very precious memories.
Staff are kind and considerate to us as a family and supported us when we had difficult times and when grandad passed. Words can’t express how appreciative we are. Thank you.

I’m so happy that we found Church View. The carers are very kind and patient, they work very hard in taking care of the needs of the residents which I witnessed when I was there with my dad. Having a nurse on-site is absolutely amazing. All the staff from the carers, nurses and cleaners were outstanding.
I’m so grateful to you all for treating my father with such dignity and respect.

I am submitting this review twelve months on from my husband transferring to Church View Nursing & Residential Home due to closure of the care home he had resided in for eight years. Moving to Church View has been wonderful for my husband. The outstanding care, compassion and professionalism from the
manager and every one of her team is second to none and I cannot thank them enough for the peace of mind they have given me. So many things go into creating an excellent care setting (nursing, care, housekeeping, maintenance, activities, catering) - Church View has it all, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the right environment for their loved one.

I cannot begin to describe how grateful we are to Church View. We struggled to find a suitable nursing home for my mother-in-law that would provide the care and dedicated support needed due to her complex condition. After many weeks of searching, we found Church View and immediately after speaking with
the manager, we knew this was the place that would provide the safety, care and dedication she needed. The staff here are outstanding - every single one of them cares about the residents as if they were part of their own family. There is always something going on - from bingo in the afternoon to a recent trip to the theatre - Church View really knows how to look after the people they care for and give them the best experiences possible during this phase of their lives. I am astounded at how hard every member of staff works. This home is outstanding in my opinion and I will always be indebted to the manager and her team for caring for the person we adore. Total heroes all of them.

My mother-in-law moved into Church View and was always well looked after, her room was always spotless and she was always content during our visits. The staff were outstanding, on our arrival always knew who we were there to visit and went the extra mile consistently even during busy times to ensure
ourselves and others were looked after and of course the residents. The atmosphere within the home was always pleasant and a pleasure to visit. All of the staff there made her final days happy and comfortable and were immense support to ourselves during our difficult time of loss. An amazing home and team.

The hardest thing in the world is to have to place your mum in a nursing home. However, when mum was in Churchview I felt totally at peace that she was in the best care. All of the team were so friendly and caring not just to mum, but to us as a family. Everybody went above and beyond to make us welcome,
especially in my mum's final days. In the hardest of times, it was a pleasure to visit and know that mum and ourselves were well looked after. We cannot thank the manager and her amazing team enough. Thank you so so much.

My grandad is in here and if it weren't for those beautiful staff he most likely wouldn't be alive now so I couldn't thank them all enough.
Very respectful and they really do love their little oldies in there! This home has changed my views on homes, at first I didn't agree with it but now I know how
happy he is it was the best thing for him, as I said at the start he wouldn't be alive if it weren't for all the staff.

Overall this place is great, carers are very understanding and patient. The food is okay and having nurses on-site is an absolute godsend. The nurse observed my father-in-law in need of medical help, had a pacemaker fitted, and is back to normal now, thank you. Management is very accomodating and approachable.
Very clean and nice garden for sitting out if you wish. Very happy with this place.

We were lucky that my Father-in-Law was placed in Church View Nursing & Residential Home. He has been cared for very well. The staff are friendly and the Manager goes out of her way to liaise with families. The manager is easy to contact and this meant we always knew how my Father-in-Law was being cared
for. This was particularly important during Covid-19 restrictions when we couldn't do internal visits.

My friend has been living at Church View for quite a few months now and he has been welcomed with open arms. He was very unhappy in his last residential home and the heartache that caused for his friends was awful. After a short stay in hospital, he was placed in Church View and once again we were worried
about the care he'd receive. We needn't have worried this time, here couldn't be more different. The staff are amazing and really do go above and beyond in their care of the residents. I can see my friend is happy and well cared for and it's such a weight off my mind. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Church View to anyone looking for a safe, happy and caring environment for their relative/friend to live in. Many thanks to all staff, you really are very special people.

I can not thank everyone in Church View enough for the compassion and care that they show on a daily basis to my mum. My mum was so reluctant to go into a nursing home but all the staff have helped settle her in and become part of their Church View family.
Nothing is ever too much and they always have
the residents' best interests at the forefront.
You have made a difficult transition easy. My mum loves all the staff (with a few sneaky favourites). Thank you to you all.

Mum was brought to Church View in March this year from hospital after undergoing a hip operation following a fall she had at her previous care home. At the time Mum was very confused and frightened in new her surroundings, but gradually she has begun to accept her new home and celebrated her 90th birthday
last week in the garden of the home with her dear family some of who she has not been able to see for over 12 months. The manager and her team are very caring and accommodating and nothing is too much trouble for them - each member of staff contributes to Mum’s care and I cannot thank them enough for making her feel secure and included. Mum joins in with the numerous activities and even enjoys a little glass of wine with the other residents - I look forward to seeing what they’re up to on the Facebook page. Thank you for looking after Mum after a very stressful 12 months.

My mum was admitted to Church View Nursing & Residential Home in March having being in a different home since end of December, which turned out not to our families liking. Mum arrived and was suffering from various ailments and was poorly, they jumped to it getting appropriate medical people involved
to try and help getting Mum sorted. Mum is up and down on a weekly basis and they put up with me calling and emailing all the time. The staff friendly and the manager is very efficient. Church View Nursing & Residential Home is my mum's forever home, I feel comfortable knowing mum is safe and looked after. Plenty of things going on for the residents. The place is clean, bright and has a lovely dining room. The pod was a great idea and my family made use of it. Well done to the manager and her staff.
