Rowan Garth is a nice place to stay. Mum is getting good care at all times the nurses are very good with all persons. Always help you out with any issues.

My dad is currently on Beech House ward in Jan 25, can not fault the care he has received who team's objective is to care for not only my dad but all resident to an exceptional standard. The change in my dad since being here is amazing. He is the happiest he has been in years, he's eating properly, and is joining in socially with everything offered to him (usually he shies away). The staff are beautiful, and are so involved with all residents. I couldn't ask for anything more than what

Our dad is happy since he has been at Rowan Garth Care Village. The staff are fantastic and so caring. He gets on great with the other residents and we know he is enjoying living there. We don't worry about him any more.

July 2024 and my dad has been in hospital since November 2023 (9 months!) with two breaks in his back and two in his hip following an unwitnessed fall in Rowan Garth - he was there less than a month and was admitted to hospital twice! Social Services initiated a safeguarding inquiry and Rowan Garth
were found to be negligent in their care of my father from a falls perspective but also his medication was changed by the hospital and they did not read the instructions properly and gave him two lots of medication that could have caused him serious harm. The way we have been treated by Rowan Garth as a family is appalling - you would think that it was us who were at fault.
Further, £50 of my dad's money has never been returned to us despite it being deposited with the Manager. Clothes were stolen - not the supermarket ones... no, branded names and football tops etc. £270 glasses disappeared. The General Manager ignored all letters.
Appalling place.

The staff are always pleasant and treat my dad with the respect he deserves. I have never witnessed anything bad here and my dad seems happy. He's kept clean, fed well and respected. Up to now, everything is really good.

I have been a resident at Beach House since December 2023 and have found the management and staff have treated me with dignity and kindness to make me welcome and feel at home.
The management put on musical shows daily, games, like bingo etc., and also have baking classes for the residents and in the
spring and summer, there will be days out for residents wishing to take part.

My partner very quickly settled in and has made good progress with the support from all members of staff. She has made friends with both staff and residents. This has helped with her low mood and given her more motivation. She also enjoys and participates in most activities on offer.

Since my mum became a resident of this care home I have to say she is happy and content to be among the other residents and excellent staff at the care home. The last I visited here my mum was beaming with joy as there was a singer performing songs most she recalled from her youth. She was up dancing
and singing among the staff also. The care my mum gets is 10/10. The staff are 10/10. In fact, each time I go I bring in biscuits for the staff simply because they are lovely people and a credit to your care home. Can't praise them enough 10/10 thank you.

Staff are exceptionally caring, patient and helpful. Safeguarding procedures are a high priority, and we are very happy with the security of our mother. Rooms are decent quality, and it is good that you can personalise them to your own needs. New activities team have arranged for a regular programme
of events that have made a huge difference to the well-being of our mother. She loves the singing and dancing activities and is stimulated and happy. Food is good quality, and the building is always clean and hygienic - we always see the rooms being constantly cleaned. We are delighted with Rowan Garth!

Mum was admitted into care straight from leaving hospital, due to her Alzheimers she was not safe to live alone. Mum left hospital quite weak with no appetite, very thin and with poor mobility etc. The difference in her today is quite remarkable, I put this down to the dedication and care the staff
at Beech House give to mum, she has gained weight and also gained some mobility.
Mum is also much brighter in herself, her mood is upbeat, she has made friends, takes part in the activities and she is always clean and tidy.
The staff have addressed any concerns we have over Mum's health and a Dr notified and brought in to the home to assess Mum.
Her room is always clean and tidy and the care home smells fresh. It's a lovely bright care home set on beautiful grounds, which are well maintained. I could not ask for better care than what Mum is already receiving. Mum is happy and content.
