Leah has been working in the care industry since the age of 17, gaining extensive experience across a variety of care settings, including nursing homes, hospitals, and as a Combat Medical with the British Army. Her career in healthcare has allowed her to develop a broad skill set in effective patient care, emergency response, and leadership in diverse settings.
She holds a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management, as well as a Level 7 qualification, which has further enhanced her ability to lead teams effectively and implement high-quality care standards.
Outside of work, Leah is a mountain climbing fanatic, recently reaching the summit of Everest!
Job Title: Deputy Manager/Clinical Lead
Joined: 2022
Mark started his career as a Healthcare Assistant in March 2007. Since then, he has built a vast skill set through working in dementia-led environments, continually gaining experience, improving his practice and furthering himself as he progressed through his career. He completed a degree in Mental Health Nursing in 2017 and since then has worked in secure female acute dementia care, leading to his position as the Deputy Manager/Clinical Lead for Blair House. He is currently in the process of completing the Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification.
His goals are to continue making a difference in the quality of life of our Service Users; advocating for them when they require it; assisting in improving the knowledge and practice of our team members so they can provide a high quality of care; and supporting our Manager, Leah to meet the challenges this will bring.
Outside of the home, Mark enjoy sports such as boxing and football, as well as walking and spending quality time with his family and friends.
