Excellent care and attention provided by all members of staff. They are cheerful, helpful, and friendly and keep me informed of any issues arising, any appointments that my father attends, and anything that he requires from me or my family. Food is very good and every effort is made to assist with feeding
and drinking if required. Regular activities are arranged and family are encouraged and invited to attend. I have no hesitation in recommending Holly Bank Nursing Home.

My father has been a resident for nearly a year now, and has a high level of care needs which they have attended to very well. Everyone had been very helpful and considerate. I would have no problem recommending Holly Bank Nursing home.

My Mum has been a resident at Holly Bank Nursing Home for a number of years, however since the new team have taken over she has been moved to a much better room with a much improved view. Nothing is to much trouble for the team and my Mum is always well cared for and most importantly happy!

My grandma has been at Holly Bank Nursing Home for a couple of months and I have nothing but good words to say about the place as a whole. The staff are welcoming upon every visit, they have made my grandma feel at home very quickly. Every member of staff is very friendly and everyone feels like a family,
including the residents. I would recommend Holly Bank to anyone.

Would like to thank the manager and all staff at Holly Bank for the care they provided to my father during his stay with them. They were excellent and the level of communication was brilliant, he really settled well and the team couldn't do enough to make him comfortable.

My brother has been in the home for a month now, and the care is exceptional, from the all the staff, and would recommend this home. It's only a small home for 12 people, and management keep up you updated and nothing is to much trouble. Thank you.

Excellent care from all staff members.
Excellent home managers who really care. The home has come on leaps and bounds since they have taken ownership.
As a family, we are very happy with everything and more importantly Mum is happy.

Thank you to all the amazing staff at Holly Bank Care Home for the outstanding care of my dear aunt. You all made her last few weeks so comfortable and so well cared for. Thank you to all the nurses, care staff, kitchen staff, and cleaners who cared for my aunty with great care and compassion. We are
incredibly grateful for everything you all did, treated my aunt with care dignity and kindness and made her last few weeks as comfortable as possible. Nothing was too much trouble always staff available to speak to you and answer any questions supportive and friendly. Although my husband has only been a resident here for one week, I can see a 100% improvement in his health and wellbeing.

Her room is lovely and bright. All the staff are so attentive, caring and friendly and always offer visitors a hot drink. I've visited many care homes and nursing homes over the years. Holly Bank stands out stands out as an exceptional one. My aunt is so comfortable and her appetite has improved considerably.

Mum moved into Holly Bank in March having spent several months in and out of hospital. The improvement in mum's general awareness and appetite has been amazing, and this is all down to the excellent care she has received from all the staff there. The food is fresh and home-cooked, and they regularly
put on group activities for the residents, which Mum has enjoyed. Mum’s room is bright and homely, and everywhere is always very clean. The communication the family has received from the management and staff has been very good, they are always available to speak to and provide regular updates. I cannot speak highly enough about the way Mum has been looked after since she arrived.

The staff are wonderful and very friendly and always there to listen if you have concerns.

My uncle has been here for a while now and has really come out of his shell, he’s started to interact with others and feels more comfortable being away from his own home. The care given is outstanding and have our minds at ease as we live a fair distance away, he’s always very well looked after and
dressed and clean when we visit.
Would highly recommend this home.

Very clean warm and friendly home.
My friend has been at Holly Bank for over 12 months now and is very well looked after. She is always happy and in good spirits which makes my visits such a pleasure.
Since being here I have seen an amazing change for the better to my friend and I am very grateful

My Mum has been a resident at Holly Bank since May 2023. My mother has dementia and is bed-bound. I find the staff to be very kind, thoughtful and caring, treating her with dignity and respect. They go the extra mile to make Mum as comfortable and content as she can be. I have found things quite hard
coming to terms with my mum's dementia and the staff and management have been amazing with me and I am so very grateful for this. Any issues arising are quickly brought to my attention and strategies are put in place to resolve matters. Mum has a lovely room which is light and airy and kept very clean. I am so pleased that I found Holly Bank and would have no hesitation recommending this excellent nursing home.

I have been very happy with the care Holly Bank staff provide and my mum seems a lot happier since the change in management. I like the attention put into the social media page so I can see what Mum is doing in between visits. The activities that are provided for residents is stimulating and fun and
Mum seems to be stimulated to enjoy these fun times. Mum complains about the food but my sister and I are working together with the care manager to find healthy choices that Mum likes. I find the health care is thorough and Holly Bank communicates if there are any concerns.

Mum has been a resident at Holly Bank for almost 3 years and she is so well cared for. The staff are all lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them. Mum is treated with dignity and respect at all times which gives me peace of mind. The quality of care is excellent and the home is spotless - a real
credit to the manager and her husband. I am kept well informed of any change in Mum's health and when appointments have been made for her with the hairdresser etc. Communication is very good. Holly Bank has a lovely calm atmosphere which is quite different to Mum's previous home and which she much prefers. The home-cooked food is a real bonus too! I would not hesitate to recommend Holly Bank.

What a difference since the new owners arrived.
Such a warm and welcoming environment when you come to visit.
The Christmas period has been lovely at Holly Bank, a visit from the local school to sing carols, a great party afternoon, with the brilliant singer, the home decorated so beautifully and
a fantastic Christmas dinner, dad loves the food and the quality is amazing. The social media for residents' family and friends is great so extended family can still see how dad is.
We cannot thank Holly Bank enough for everything they do to care for Dad and the other residents.
