Warren Park is a family owned and run care home which offers person-centred care and support to up to 40 residents who require general nursing care.

The home provides a safe and secure environment and the attentive staff go above and beyond to make each resident feel comfortable and cared for. The aim is for residents to be as independent as possible.

The home benefits from being only a few hundred yards from the Liverpool seafront and some rooms have sea views. 80 per cent of bedrooms have ensuite facilities and some are large enough for dual occupancy.

What can I say? My aunt spent 4 years at Warren Park. The staff there became part of my extended family. From day one they made my aunt and me so welcome, it really is a home from home. Normally nursing homes have a certain feeling and atmosphere but at Warren Park, I always felt it was just like a
big house where my aunt lived with all her friends. She never wanted for anything and most importantly I was able to leave her there and know she was safe and happy. I spent many an afternoon sitting in the lounge and gardens just as we would do at home and there were always plenty of things to keep her busy, from quizzes and bingo to the children's group that used to come and play on a Tuesday - this was her favourite. The staff, every single one of them, were professional and caring in equal proportions. I would not have wanted her to be anywhere else. They made her final years so nice and I am eternally grateful to Warren Park.

Our mother had to go for respite for two weeks as my sister was having an operation. She needed care as had a pelvic fracture that was healing. Unfortunately, Covid was rife so she had to go into isolation from day one. The home handled this amazingly well and bent over backwards, even going to go and
get Mum's favourite cereal from the shop! Communication with family was excellent too. Can’t praise the owner and staff enough!

My Mum has been a resident for three years, and my Dad was able to join her in her double room for a while before he passed away. My daughter and I visited approximately twenty nursing homes in Sefton before we chose Warren Park. It was by far the nicest home that we visited. It is set in nice grounds
that some of the residents regularly enjoy in the warmer months. They have an activities coordinator who keeps the residents busy with various activities such as singing, gardening and days out (when allowed due to Covid restrictions). All the staff are amazing. They know each resident by name and take time to chat as well as care for the residents. When my Dad was receiving end of life care they were lovely with him, my Mum and close family, providing hot drinks and kind words that were much appreciated. The food is good and the place is spotlessly clean. My Mum is happy there.

Mother is here for 'end of life' care and has been for a few weeks. She is very happy here and loves the staff. She speaks very well of the meals - says everything is cooked from scratch and the chef adds lots of nice touches to familiar standards. She has a lovely room with an en-suite and a nice view
of the grounds. Level of care is excellent and the staff are highly competent and very friendly. She hasn't been well enough to take part in the social side of things but the home seems to offer a good selection of outings and events. We consider ourselves very fortunate that she has been able to stay here.

My grandad was a resident in Warren Park and very sadly passed away a few weeks ago. The staff are an amazing team and words cannot express the gratitude I feel for their acts of kindness, support and dedication shown to him during the last few weeks of his life. He was treated with dignity and as a
member of their family. I was also supported by the staff for which I am truly grateful. Warren Park rooms are maintained to a very high standard and the cleanliness is excellent. The staff are very welcoming and make you feel at ease. I would definitely recommend Warren Park to anyone who is considering a care home for their loved ones.

My nan came here just before Christmas and I cannot fault the staff here, nothing is ever too much for them. Going from a residential home where my nan was not correctly cared for it is is excellent to have faith restored and be shown that my nan is cared for how she should be. The staff are warm and
friendly with my nan making her feel welcome, everywhere is always spotless and Covid procedures always followed strictly.

My Mum was allocated a placement at Warren Park after a long stay in hospital. I was so happy when I was able to visit. The house is beautiful with a lovely garden. My Mum’s room has a lovely view and is a good size. The care she receives is exceptional, she often tells me how wonderful the staff are
and how well she is being looked after. She enjoys all the meals and also the activities the staff do with the residents. Mum is able to watch a live stream of catholic mass every week, which is another bonus too.

As a family, we spent months searching and visiting care homes to find one which we found suitable for our mother. At Warren Park, we certainly found the best. My mother was a resident at Warren Park for just over two years and was given the best care we could have hoped for. The staff, from the managers
right through to the cleaners, were first class and very professional, especially bearing in mind the situation with covid 19. Sadly, my mother passed four weeks ago and again the care, professionalism and dignity shown by all staff, especially the nurses was first class. I would not hesitate to recommend Warren Park to any family looking for the ideal place for a loved one.

As a power of attorney to a friend and neighbour, it was recommended to me that we applied for a vacancy at Warren Care. As with all major life changes, there are a few ups and downs for those going from home to a care home; with this in mind and to sum up the last six months during COVID, the manager
and all the staff have bent over backwards to accommodate all requests to the best of their ability. There is an openness to answer all questions and requests and concerns. The quality of care appears very good, the food excellent and together, with the residents' liaison officer's additional attention to entertainment and information within the home, really makes this feel special for the residents and those who visit their loved ones.

Nothing is too much effort for the staff here, and they are all lovely. The rooms are nice and well cared for. I have no faults whatsoever to find with this place. As I was growing older, I did not want to come into a home, but I've no doubt that I couldn't have come into a better one. If any of my
friends asked my opinion of a home where they could go, I would certainly recommend Warren Park.

Mum went into Warren Park for end of life care. We had looked at many homes with a heavy heart until we found Warren Park. From the minute we went in, we were welcomed as a family, and mum made to feel that she was at home. The care from all members of staff regardless of what position they hold had
been amazing their respect friendliness and dedicated care has always been first class because of this mum is still with us and even in these trying times continues to receive individual care thanking Warren Park.

Mum moved into care at Warren Park in February 2020 after I had been looking after her at home for a number of years but could no longer meet all her needs. The room was deep cleaned and freshly decorated before she moved in and it is a good size and with a lovely view into the garden. The staff have
been universally kind and caring: they clearly care deeply for their charges all of whom are individually known to everyone. It has been unfortunate that the COVID pandemic has kept residents confined to their rooms for the bulk of the time Mum has been in but staff have done their best, enabling phone calls, taking and passing on messages, printing out our messages from the online system. For the few weeks, it was possible to visit they did everything they could to facilitate. It will be good when they are able to offer more activities as residents miss company but the most important thing - their safety - has been paramount and good techniques have kept everyone safe.

My uncle moved to Warren Park nursing home in 2019. It was one of the hardest decisions I had to make. I was immediately put at ease by the manager when making my decision. My uncle lived at Warren Park for nearly one year before he passed away. The first few months passed and my uncle had settled in
very well, his room was beautiful, he was extremely happy and had bonded with the staff who meet his daily needs and care. The care staff and nurses became part of our family. My uncle was treated with respect and dignity, all his care needs were met, he was also shown love and compassion. I would highly recommend Warren Park Nursing Home. I couldn't have wished for more than what everyone who works there has done for him and made his final year of life peaceful but also filled with laughter and love. My thanks to all the care and nursing staff, and to the staff behind the scenes who organise the billings, mail, email, thank you for keeping me updated and informed at all times.

My mum was in Warren Park after she could no longer be cared for at home. It was by far the nicest nursing home we viewed. It has a lovely feel and is well-maintained. The rooms are always clean and tidy. When mum moved in, the room had been freshly decorated and we only had to indicate where to hang
her pictures and it was done by the next day. All the staff are very friendly. The management team gave us confidence and were always available to answer any questions. The nursing staff do a fantastic job, they get to know all the residents quickly. The carers are kind and affectionate and always respectful, they keep families up to date on how their relatives have been getting on and what they have been doing. The social plan is varied. The kitchen staff are more than accommodating and happy to provide alternatives to the standard meals. I cannot think of anything that would stop me recommending this nursing facility to anyone looking for a safe and pleasant place for a loved one.

When Mum had a stroke it became evident that on discharge from hospital she would need nursing care. We started looking into nursing homes in the L23 and L22 area. I viewed a number of other homes in the area, but none were even nearly as welcoming as Warren Park.
The building itself is kept beautifully
and is spotlessly clean – and importantly it doesn’t smell like many nursing homes. What can I say about the staff – they are amazing, every last one of them from senior management, the nursing staff, the healthcare assistants, the ‘backstage’ staff in the kitchen and the laundry to the handyman. Everyone is friendly and smiling and always has time to chat to both residents and visitors alike; they treat residents like guests in their own homes and nothing is too much trouble. When mum needed full nursing care and the staff treated her with the utmost dignity and respect in every situation. No hesitation in recommending this nursing home to anyone.

My Partner's mother has been a resident of Warren Park Nursing Home for over four years now. The care and attention that she receives has been excellent. Despite the fact that she was put on end of life care about 12 months ago, she has recovered and is progressing well, thanks to the wonderful care
she is receiving. I visit the home with my partner fairly regularly and the staff's attention to detail with cleanliness, medication, food and toilet care inspires us with confidence that her Mum is in a good, safe place. The social activities that are laid on for the residents are inspirational, with organised visits from children, magicians, singers and presentations about interesting historical events. I would have no hesitation in recommending Warren Park Nursing Home to anyone who needs Nursing Care.

Warren Park Nursing Home has given me total peace of mind as I know my mum and all residents are well cared for and are shown respect and kindness. Their dignity is preserved as much as possible during their personal care.
The activities coordinator ensures there are a variety of activities although
the music/singing seem to be favourite with the residents joining in. There are art/craft afternoons, quizzes, gardening club. Pamper sessions and one on one chats to make sure the residents are all catered for. Trips out have been enjoyed by those participating and there have been a variety of destinations, such as Museum of Liverpool Garden Centres and Lakeside walk.
The residents are kept clean, bathed or showered regularly and the whole building is always fresh and clean - in the last two years, I have never known the standard to slip.
The meals are varied and residents are encouraged to pass comment or suggest changes and these are taken on board and discussed.
