Bebington Care Home is one of the largest Care Homes on the Wirral. Providing care for Residential / Residential EMI / Nursing and Nursing EMI they have 80 rooms over four Units.

With a dedicated and friendly care team residents, relatives and friends become a part of the Bebington Care Home family.

Bebington Care Home is LGBTQ+ friendly.

The care home welcomes same-sex couples and allows private time for couples and the sharing of rooms.

The care home's staff have had LGBTQ+ awareness training.

Recently refurbished (June 2023), all rooms have en-suite bathrooms and each Unit with a fully assisted bathroom.

All residents are encouraged to join in with a full and fun-packed activities schedule offering group activities and one-to-one sessions. External activities are also invited to the Home, such as dog therapy and The Owl Man. All denominations are also inclusive.

With an 'open door' policy, visiting times are not restricted. Family and friends are welcome, even those of the furry kind.

It is very difficult to write a full review as the home is shut to visitors. From what we know Mum is well looked after and is fine in herself. In the current environment, it is pleasing to see the excellent efforts of the staff to comfort the residents in the absence of families.

I am very happy with the home. My Uncle is very happy and very comfortable. His room is nice. The staff are very caring and are very attentive. They know us as his family and always chat with us.

My mum has been a resident at Bebington for five and a half years. When moving there, she had come from six months in hospital/care setting. Initially, the support she received ensured that her physical/emotional and medical condition all improved. She has also been supported very well through a few
illnesses and a flare-up of a medical condition. She has been very happy at Bebington, often reporting verbally that the "Queen could not have better care and support". My quote below that management is 'good' is mostly to reflect recent management changes - I hope that the new manager appointment improves this.

My mother spent about nine to ten months with you. Whenever I visited, she seemed content and well cared for.
The staff were always happy and willing to transfer Mum to a wheelchair so I could take her back to her room if we wished for a quiet chat.
The compassion shown to Mum and my sisters and I
as she neared the end of her life was wonderful, from all the staff. You helped to ease her passing and make it as easy and peaceful for all of us as possible.

I found most times I visit my brother, I always have a complaint to make. I hate it as I can see some staff are not up to carrying out the work and care that dementia requires for my dear brother. I do like the home, a big shame it has gone down like it has. Good luck, hope it will get better.

From my first visit to Bebington Care Home, I was very impressed. I went to view one other but wasn't impressed at all so came back to you. I didn't even go to see any others and told the social worker that this is where I want my wife to be. The staff are very, very good, so helpful.
The home is excellent,
I could not have wished for my wife to be anywhere else.

My mum is very well cared for, the staff are lovely, friendly, very caring to all residents, nothing is too much trouble, ask them anything always helpful. Food is good. Room lovely. My mother's care is dependent on the staff who take care of her not only physically but mentally as well, which is equally important and some shifts of staff are truly both professional and caring at the same time. They care for the residents but the visiting relatives as well and just as importantly,
to their fellow members of staff. I have spent days with mum and I recognise what a difficult job it is but some shifts support one another and others don't. But overall, I think the care is good for catering for what are demanding circumstances.

Although my husband has been in this home a short time, I am more than pleased to see how well he has settled and is happy and content. The staff are always there to take care of his needs, and treat him with patience and respect. He is suffering with dementia. They spend time chatting with him and

Since my in-law moved to this home from respite she has been happy and constantly laughing. She is always clean and has made some new friends which is nice. There is always a member of staff about if needed and they are very welcoming to visitors. She has also put weight on (which is a good thing) so
the food must be good .

I joined Bebington Care Home as the Home Manager in January 2023.


I have a real passion for Bebington Care Home because this is where I began my career in care over 20 years ago as a care assistant.


I have worked in care for a long time, and there are many reasons for this. I love the fact that the smallest of gestures mean the most to others, and if, during the course of my working day I can make others feel valued and genuinely cared for, then I know that I am making a difference to someone’s life. Caring for others is the most rewarding career to have.


I am a perfectionist who enjoys the attention to detail that comes with this job, I like to focus on the standards of attainment required to hold the position that I love.


My door will always be open, I am responsive and ready to help in any way that I can. I both encourage and welcome any feedback that will help us to shape the future of the home.
