Situated a stone’s throw away from Alderley Edge, Brookview welcomes those with nursing, residential and respite needs, and also offers early stages residential dementia, convalescence and palliative care.

Significant investment has made Brookview a luxury home, with luxurious fixtures and fittings including an ensuite in all bedrooms, stylish furniture and a brand new annex to the main building. There are day lounges on all floors and views of mature gardens, wooded areas and raised flower beds.

There’s a real sense of community at the home. The staff work to discover what residents enjoy doing and the home's social calendar is organised around those interests. My husband has been in care for five and a half years, two and a half at Brookview Care Home. The whole ethos of Brookview is in stark contrast to his previous care home. He is in the last stages of Alzheimer's and is completely helpless, but I never have any qualms that he will not always be cared
for with dignity and compassion and all his physical needs anticipated. The carers have my unmitigated praise and thanks for the wonderful care they give my husband.

My sister is being extremely well cared for. Her needs are anticipated and fulfilled despite her complex problems and her medical care is excellent. Her clothes, room and bathroom are always spotless and comfortable. Food service is wonderful as is the food and the staff are friendly and helpful.

My mother has been at Brookview for one year, previously visiting for respite.
All the staff are so kind and professional, ensuring she is comfortable at all times.
When my mother became too ill to return home, there was only one nursing home she would consider and that was Brookview, as she knew
and trusted all the staff.

At Brookview Care Home it is in my opinion that I have found a care home or exceptional quality. It is immediately apparent on entering at reception everything is clean and tidy, beautifully kept and looking attractive. The reception is very pleasant and friendly an attitude which I was to find pervades
every member of staff. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is done with a smile or serious consideration. I admired everyone's dedication. The overall temperature and facilities were just right also a noticeable lack of odour of any kind was apparent I am most happy.

I was a little apprehensive when I first moved into Brookview. However, the staff were so reassuring and made me feel at home.
The staff are very welcoming and have made all the difference.
I am very well looked after at Brookview.
I love the activities and visits by school children.

Brookview Care Home has a very good standard of care. I visited last week to see my friend's mother.


The residents seem to manage very well and the staff are very helpful.


I recommended two of my neighbours to stay there in the last few years and visited a friend before that.

I thank my lucky stars every day that Brookview was the first home we looked at so we didn't spend weeks looking. When it became necessary, I was ready to send my father in a taxi (as I was away) but the clinical services manager offered to go herself and collect him which took a huge weight off my
mind. Dad seems to have taken to his new life very well, he has a lovely, comfortable room with a view across the fields, the staff are always friendly and kind and there seem to be lots of activities going on.
My father has dementia among other things and a doctor recently said to me that he didn't think that dad had much quality of life to which I have to argue that he has a lovely quality of life, not the life that he used to have and not the life that I want for myself but a new and different quality of life made possible by Brookview. So I can only be grateful to everyone there and thank the management who are obviously doing things right!

Everyone knows my name. Everyone steps to say hello, even if I do not know them, they still step to speak to me. Staff are very, very nice and courteous at all times. My room and the communal areas are very elegant. There is a vast choice of activities to choose from. I feel safe living at Brookview
and cared for.

My father spent the last two months of his life at Brookview. He had serious health issues including Dementia.


Other care homes were reluctant to accept my father, however, Brookview were both confident and efficient and succeeded in accepting and moving my father in within 24 hours. At a difficult

time for my family, we really needed help, this was forthcoming from Brookview.


My father's stay was obviously challenging for all the staff, without exception they all played their part in making life as comfortable as possible for my father.


I have learnt a lot about care homes in the past few months, I understand that management is the key that sets the standards. The management at Brookview are both sincere and really professional creating a brilliant team.

My mum passed away on the 4th of July, aged 95, having lived at Brookview for 3 years. She was extremely happy at the home. It really was her home. She was very frail but still mentally alert. She was encouraged to keep active, enjoyed the trips out and despite her tiny size (5 and a half stone), she
loved the food. All the staff without exception were amazing, it was a comfort to know how well she was looked after, safe, warm and happy.

My mum who has Vascular Dementia became a resident at Brookview nursing and residential care home in Alderley Edge in November 2012. She had previously spent two months at a residential care home in Bramhall prior to this when we were advised they could no longer cater for her needs. As a family this
was an extremely distressing time for us, finding Mum a suitable new home that would care and cater for her needs. This was no easy task!


I found Brookview on the internet and made an appointment to visit. As a family we have never looked back, we feel such a sense of relief and reassurance that our mum is being cared for by such an amazing team.


I think my ratings say everything else……….you have been brilliant!

I have worked for Bupa for just under 5 years. I previously worked in the police force as a communications officer, followed by home care where I then progressed into care homes and worked my way up to where I am today.


Caring for residents is my passion and ensuring all their needs are met. I love engaging with families and the team to ensure Brookview is a great place to live and work.


I am married with three grown-up children and a granddaughter who is five. I live in Knutsford, and in my spare time, I love spending time with my family, going on walks with our dog, sunny holidays and socialising with friends!
