I can't fault Clayton Manor Care Home. My mum is very hard to please but the staff are always patient and helpful. The facilities are fantastic, especially since the recent refurbishments. The activities are varied and the staff encourage participation including occasional day trips out. The quality
of nursing care is excellent and mum's health has improved since she moved here. All the staff are friendly and cheerful management deal quickly and efficiently with any concerns.

My husband was placed here two years ago. I am very happy with his care and the staff are very friendly, I have never had any concerns. My husband is very settled and the staff are always around to ask any questions. Lovely place and the refurbishment is lovely.

The home was being refurbished when my father first arrived for nursing care. Despite all the obvious upheaval, the staff were always very caring and friendly to all residents. The admin staff then made every effort to make accommodation available for my mother who had dementia. Both parents are now
in Clayton Manor and although on separate floors, because of needs, the staff make every effort that they are together on a daily basis. This is the second home I have been to with my parents and I have to say the staff, services and activities are the best and always so accommodating. Absolutely no problems and all queries dealt with rapidly and positively. One definitely to recommend.

My mother in law was well and truly looked after here, she was a resident at the home for nearly 10 years. She first arrived here to live on the Memory Unit, she loved it and got on well with the staff. She spent 7 years on the unit, but with her health and age she began to decline
because the home
had nursing facilities we were lucky enough to not have to move her.
She sadly slipped away peacefully in December last year at the grand age of 99.

Three and a half years ago we chose Clayton Manor for mum based largely on the positive and caring attitude of the staff - and they're still providing great support and care.
The furnishings were a bit tired but the level of care was our main concern. However, over the last six months, there has been
a significant investment. It now has a first-rate environment to match the care - including a cafe bar for more relaxing family visits.

Our mam has been at Clayton Manor Care Home now for about six weeks and we've been very impressed with the quality (and quantity) of care. Each time we visit, there are always plenty of helpful, smiling staff on hand to help both the residents and their families.

I am a qualified nurse with 21 years of experience in the NHS and 22 years of experience in the healthcare sector. I have a special interest in dementia care, and worked as a national dementia lead, before coming to manage Clayton Manor in 2020. Prior to this role, I managed an outstanding-rated home for 9 years. I love my job and work hard to ensure that people living and working here are happy, and safe and have the best we can possibly offer. I also ensure that relatives are informed of what is happening at all times. We operate in a truly inclusive way so everyone feels welcome and supported. I am very proud to say that I work at Clayton Manor. It is the most homely, caring and exceptional place I have worked in.
