Situated on the Cheshire border near Audlem and within easy reach of Market Drayton and Nantwich, Corbrook Park Nursing Home is an elegant country house providing personal, sensitive nursing care.

The home provides a range of care for the elderly frail including post-operative convalescence care, disability and palliative care.

Their bespoke Morris Care Cedar Philosophy was pioneered in their specialist wing for those living with dementia, known as Cedar Court. Here, therapeutic approach offers a better quality of life where residents are part of an accepting community, more personal choice and the ability to live to their individual timescales, to encourage greater engagement, as well as calmness and contentedness.

In addition to specialist care, residents at Corbrook Park benefit from the Homes 11 acres of grounds. The Homes comfortable lounges offer views of Corbrook’s beautiful landscaped gardens and regular walks are encouraged around the gardens.

Mum was reluctant to go into a care home at the age of 88 years but she could not manage at home even with carers. Mum has been at Colbrook Park for nearly 3 months and it has been a revelation. She loves the carers and has a lovely room with views over the countryside. We have not heard one criticism
of Corbrook Park and often she breaks off a call as someone has come to speak to her. She has never mentioned her old home and I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely home.

In the short time (7 months) my mother was in Corbrook Park she had variable health but can report that the staff, from registered nurse to carer, chef to caretaker, all at times played their part in ensuring that my mother's experience at Corbrook was a supported and happy one. The staff were very
responsive to my mother's needs both in healthy times, offering time to talk and share, and in less healthy times when she needed significant care. I would particularly like to commend the staff for their very caring approach in the final days of my mother's life and after. I was particularly struck by how the staff supported me through the last days, but also the care and attention they gave to my mother after she had passed away. I truly feel that there is a shared ethos and community within Corbrook Park Nursing home, which extends beyond the staff and residents to include family which helps in difficult times.
Corbrook Park is also set in beautiful grounds which brings a smile to all.

I will be happy to spend my waning years at this comfortable home with its caring, friendly and informed staff. The Edwardian extended mansion and its formal grounds with rural views stimulate the senses. Mostly ensuite single rooms ensure privacy and the lounges offer space for socialising. The experienced
maintenance staff respond to staff and residents' requests promptly. Activities are well planned, appropriate and well-led. Covid-19 has stopped outside entertainers from visiting. Our PPE-clad visitors can walk or wheel us around the grounds. A local GP visits weekly and when needed. Our nurses administer medicines and treatments and supervise daily healthcare. Food is home-cooked, varied, satisfying, nourishing and plentiful. Residents are provided religious services.

My sister and I were at our wit's end when Mum fell and fractured her hip during the lockdown. Then, to be advised that Mum was medically fit to return home, we chose Corbrook Park as Mum's family farmed locally and Mum knows many of the residents. Thank you to the manager and his team for the staff's
(too many to mention) kindness and support during a very difficult time.

We couldn't have asked for a more kind, compassionate and respectful home for our mother to live. The care and loving attention given to her, especially in her last days, were over and above professional duty. In her last hours, I was able to stay overnight with her and to be with her to the last. Even
afterwards, the staff protected her and our dignity. Thank you to all the staff.

My mum, who had dementia, has received excellent care since arriving at Corbrook, but from my point of view, it is the communication between the staff and my family which sets Corbrook apart from other homes, particularly when visiting has not been possible or practical. Staff have always been helpful,
and it is clear that they know Mum well, from what they say on the phone. I'm very confident that Mum is not only looked after but really cared for at Corbrook.

Corbrook Park provides wonderful care and has been fantastic during the lockdown. We have not been able to visit, but have received twice-weekly Facetime calls, now visits outside only. We have been kept in touch. Can't praise staff, carers and anyone connected enough. Always have been impressed with
Corbrook, but feel they have gone up and beyond at this time. Lovely setting and gardens, but overall care for our loved one is 5-star. Would recommend. All staff extremely caring and good at their job. Entertainment is brilliant too.

Delays can be experienced when the 'help' button is used. Sometimes a lack of concern is felt. Food can be an issue, particularly with some meat, which can be tough (lamb and beef). Vegetables don't look fresh and are overcooked, and food could be served hotter. Medical assistance can be an issue, with
what seems a lack of communication between doctor and nurses. Generally a satisfactory picture with some good carers.

Since my father has been at Cedars he has been looked after to a high standard due to his health conditions not been able to go out. The staff are excellent with time and I know if things were different he would be happy there.

My mother, who recently passed away, was a resident at Corbrook for three years. The staff, carers and nurses are dedicated to the care of residents and treat them with respect and dignity. If a problem arose it was dealt with promptly and efficiently. In my mother's final days the staff on duty were
very respectful and supported me through three difficult days.
There have been many management changes recently and when this is more stable, Corbrook will be an excellent care facility.

The last few months have been one of great change. Carers leaving, agency staff, change of manager. I do believe the new manager is trying to sort out the above issues. The regular staff are great with exception of a couple. Issues I have raised have been addressed by the manager. I look forward to

The staff and management work really hard to create a welcoming home where my mum is really happy. She is treated with great kindness and understanding. The staff are always attentive and help my mum whenever needed. All staff spend a great deal of time communicating with the residents and helping them
to communitcate with each other. I have joined in many of the activities including garden walks, singing, music and movement, bingo, craft and chair exercises e.g. football! These are with groups of residents and run every weekday. There are also organised visits by local groups; e.g. schools and animals. My mum's health has improved since being in Corbrook Park because of her complex medical needs being regularly assessed and catered for. It is a joy for all our family to see our mum so happy. Thank you all.

My mother received a very warm welcome, even had her hair washed and set within an hour of arriving. As my mother says every time I visit "The staff are lovely and kind." She is grateful for the relaxed, sociable atmosphere and enjoyable meals served in the attractive dining room. I am heartened by
the individual reassurance and care my mother receives to help her feel comfortable at this bewildering end stage of life.

From the moment I went to Corbrook to ask about a room for my mother, the staff were so welcoming, friendly and reassuring. Although my mother was only there for 3 days they treated her (and us) with respect and dignity. They made her comfortable in her final hours and were so nice to all the family

From the moment we walked into Corbrook Park Nursing Home we were impressed with the stunning building, welcoming atmosphere and beautiful country setting with superb views of the Cheshire countryside.
We were especially grateful to the manager for agreeing to have dad at very short notice.

I have worked in the care industry for 17 years and have been a registered nurse for 14 of those.


Providing safe, quality and memorable care to our older generation is an absolute privilege, and I am passionate about ensuring that Corbrook Park strives for excellence every single day.
