We would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at Chapel Fields care home. The nursing care Mum receives on a daily basis is much appreciated. Mum is always very pleased to see the carers. They know immediately what she wants! All the staff are friendly and welcoming to our family and always
go the extra mile to help, even during the recent most challenging circumstances.

In my honest opinion Chapel Fields Care Home nurses and carers are all excellent. My mum passed away and I could not have had more care for all my family at this very difficult time.

I wrote a review over a month ago about the poor standard of care that my father received at Chapel Fields. He died in less than a month of living there. Fit and well prior to going into the home. The response to my review was that the manager was going to contact our family to discuss further. They
haven’t contacted us.

It was a hard decision to make when I had to put my Aunt in a home, but having seen how much better she is now, after only a couple of months, it could not have been better. The staff are wonderful and so helpful. Very professional and communication is excellent. Requests, nothing has been too much
for them. My Aunt is very happy and settled. I no longer need to worry about her, knowing she is being well looked after.

This has been an exceptionally difficult year for residents, their families and care staff. Throughout it, all the staff have been cheerful, empathetic and caring despite the agonies and fear they must have been feeling.
losing my father during lockdown was a particularly difficult moment as I could
not be with my mother or have her attend the funeral again the staff stepped up to the mark doing what clearly comes naturally to them. Thank you.

My Mum hasn't been at Chapel Fields that long. Within a week of arriving, I noticed such a difference in her mood. She seems much happier than when she was home with a live-in carer. She is a lot brighter overall. From what I have seen up to now, I think the staff are excellent and very helpful. And
I also believe the food is great!

During the extended time, my mother has lived at Chapel Fields I have been treated with friendliness and compassion. There have been hiccups, not of the group origin and they have been dealt with entirely to my satisfaction. The last few weeks have been extremely difficult, but the staff have managed
to address all the issues to allow me precious time with my mother. I cannot thank them enough.

Mum entered Chapel Fields Care Home in Frodsham in October 2020. Mum has dementia and has also been bereaved this year. We lost my dad to cancer in July 2020. They had been married for over 66 years. Naturally, our anxiety for mum to be settled was very high. We need not have worried. The care is absolutely
wonderful. Mum took days to settle and we couldn't be happier. Covid-19 has obviously meant that we are unable to go inside the care home to see her. However, the management have pulled out all the stops to help us to communicate with Mum. We do a window visit. We outside, Mum inside, using a phone. She is so much calmer and less anxious than she has been for months. Of course, she misses us and dad, but we are consoled with the fact that Mum is cared for and safe.

The care home is always very clean and has no horrible smells. The staff are friendly and helpful. They look after my mum very well. The Chaplain is very nice and helps my mum with Christian input that my mum is very happy with. The lady doing the activities is very professional and includes my mum
in everyday activities that makes her stay so much more enjoyable.

Always very welcoming and staff very helpful. All areas are very clean and during the coronavirus period once outside visiting was allowed it seems as though every safety precaution was taken.

My husband has been in the home since January of this year. I have found that the staff have been patient and supportive of his needs; nothing is too much trouble. Initially, he would not join in things, but now thanks to the staff and activity coordinator's encouragement, he now joins in with everything
and really enjoys. I would like to thank the staff for keeping our loved ones safe during the outbreak of covid-19, it has been heartbreaking for some families, and our thoughts are with them.

My mother has been in this care home for three years and has been visited regularly by members of our family. During this period we have visited at all times of the day and always been greeted with the same professionalism. The rooms are always immaculately clean as are the residents. The facilities,
showers and toilet are to a high standard as well. The care and compassion along with the patience of the staff is exemplary. We are regularly updated on any matter by staff members and we are shown the activity book for mum so we can discuss activity she has taken part in as a prompt. The staff even arranged my brothers 60th birthday so my mother could be part of it. We have attended the entertainment on occasions and all residents thoroughly enjoy this. My mother is not the easiest resident to manage and is prone to repetition and also to outbursts of anger. However, at all times she is reassured and dealt with very professionally. I would recommend the home to anyone who is looking.

I would like to thank all the care staff, office, carers, nurses, cleaners, laundry staff and anyone I might have forgotten. Since my father entered the home I have found everyone very welcoming and obliging, always cheerful and will pass the time of day with visitors. I appreciate the task everyone
faces in a care home and they all seem to do it with a cheerful demeanour. Even more so at the moment in these troubling times so thank you for doing the job you are doing, we appreciate it greatly.
