  • Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level
    of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge.
    Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible. There are no additional fees
    for respite stays.

It was a good month with various activities for residents and relatives. The home provides excellent care and support to the relatives.

My wife moved into Hollins Park Macclesfield about four or five years ago. She has severe dementia and now needs complete care and attention. Hollins Park is ideally suited for this. The home is split up into four equal quadrants, each with its own nursing and care staff. This means more care and attention
to all its residents. The home is clean and well looked after by a great management and all the staff are dedicated to the work they do. There is also an activities staff who look after the activities of those residents who still have the capacity to enjoy various amusements (games,visiting entertainer etc). During my wife's stay I have visited four times a week, made many friends and watched the residents treated with care and dignity.

Since arriving at Hollins my Father has received very caring and professional help putting our mind at rest that he is now receiving the best care possible at this stage of his dementia journey. My father was transferred from another care home whom were wholly inadequate which left us constantly worried
about his well being and safety however since arriving at Hollins we have absolutely none of those worries. The team are professional, trustworthy and you can see that they have all of the residents best interests at heart. All in all a great home with caring staff, we feel very happy my Father is now receiving the right care by the right people.

Tracy Norbury

Job Title: Home manager

Joined: 2004

I’ve worked at Hollins Park since 2004 when I began working here part-time as a domestic. I was studying for my A levels at the time. After I left school, I moved into a care worker role before doing my nurse training. Later on, I became deputy home manager and now home manager.


I love walking through Hollins Park at the beginning of the day, seeing colleagues and residents having a chat, and getting the day off to a good start. I believe in leading by example, continuing to be ‘hands-on’ so I model good care to my team, and regularly checking in with colleagues and listening to whatever issues they have. Training is all-important to ensuring quality care, and I often lead this myself.


In 2017 I won Best Nurse Specialist/Dementia Lead at the National Dementia Care Awards. It was an honour to win, especially as I’d won the Good Nurse category at the North West finals of the Great British Care Awards a few weeks earlier!


I’m looking forward to adding my own touches to Hollins Park while continuing to maintain our high standards and exceeding residents’ and relatives’ expectations.


At Hollins, we continue to strive to give our residents the best possible care, we continue to use every opportunity we can to keep residents engaged and lead a fulfilling life. In 2023 I was awarded a Queens Nurse title and the National Dementia Nurse Manager award, I’m committed to going the extra mile and ensuring the best for our residents and will shortly be starting my post-graduate studies in person-centred dementia care which is an opportunity to use this knowledge at the home.
