The staff at this home provide a caring, sincere and warm service across the board. In your twilight, you need comfort, attention and security. This was provided in abundance. I don't know how they remain so committed and positive but they do. I have met all staff and the home senior managers. Can't
praise them enough for just being so human, so caring, and kind to those who are largely helpless but so deserving of a great service that they make special and personal. Orchard Manor is a wonderful place for your loved one to be cared for at their journey’s end.

My aunt was cared for at Orchard Manor for 3 years. During that period her treatment was impeccable. The staff are, in our experience, caring and hard-working, and the care she received, including the catering, was excellent. Following a severe stroke, her end of life care by the staff was remarkable.
They were attentive and thoughtful and went above and beyond. They helped us and my aunt right to the end.

I could not recommend Orchard Manor highly enough, the nursing staff on Willow are superb, as are the very attentive care staff and supervision. The activities team keep residents busy with various activities which change on a weekly basis, posted on the wall to the entrance to Willow unit. The Housekeepers
seem to be constantly on the go, and every single member of staff has a great warm and welcoming smile. The meals served are fantastic and a great menu is offered.
It's coming up to 18 months now that my wife has been at Orchard Manor, and from the very first time I visited to view I knew it was "the place" I wanted my wife to live. It really is a fantastic care home, with excellent staff across the board, from management to the maintenance team to the gardeners. I only have great praise and thanks to all at Orchard Manor. I am there every day for a few hours and cannot complain at all. Thank you All.

After being in hospital for a number of months my mum has just returned home to Orchard Manor with the most heartwarming reception from the staff.


I was obviously concerned about Mum being disoriented after being away for such a long time but needn’t have worried at all. They did everything to help

Mum settle in her own time.


The staff requested all the information on Mum's routine in hospital so that they could continue her care plan with as little disruption as possible even installing a bedroom sensor immediately to continue the night plan. Mum was welcomed with hugs and kisses and she was glowing with all the special attention. Anybody with a loved one suffering dementia can only wish for a home who would treat them as if they were family.


Thank you to the staff at Orchard Manor for such a warm and caring welcome home.

Moving my dad to Orchard Manor Care Home has been the best decision I could have made for him. The support and caring ways everyone in the home show to my dad is so special. He is a lovely man, but sometimes now with his dementia, he can easily get upset. In the previous home, they were slow to react
and this led to my dad reacting in ways which were out of frustration. The staff at Orchard Manor are excellent and react so quickly to possible flair up moments. Staff treat every patient and visitor in such a welcoming and lovely way. The introduction of dolls to my dad has turned his emotions around, he now looks after them as his children and is so happy. Thank you for looking after my very special dad!

My dad has been at Orchard Manor for 5 months and he is well looked after by a kind, caring and lovely team of people. He can be difficult but they all treat him with respect and patience, and his dignity is maintained. He has a lovely room looking onto the gardens, and recently the staff have created
a memory box outside each resident's room which is personalised for the resident. I would say they've got my Dad down to a tee - well done! My sisters and I live far away so visit when we can but in the meantime, we are happy that Dad is safe, secure and his needs are well met. I’m glad we got Dad into Orchard Manor. Thank you to all the staff who look after our Dad.

One of the carers is a hardworking carer. I have seen her in the dining room attending to more than one resident and in a very caring and patient way. She deals with trying situations with patience and loving care. I recommend her for the monthly award this month.

Incredibly professional yet warm and kind staff. Very supportive in the time leading up to my mother's death to both her family and to her. She couldn't have received better care. Staff treated her with dignity throughout.

My father was in Orchard Manor for 18 months and he was always treated with the utmost respect. Staff went over and above the call of duty. The care he received, especially in his final days, was very loving and caring. I would have no hesitation in recommending Orchard Manor.

I went to see my 97-year-old Mother today. I was a bit late arriving and she was in the dining room about to have her dinner, so I pulled a chair up to sit beside her. As they started giving the meals out they placed a knife and fork in front of me and said while you are here you can have lunch with
your mum. Fish, chips and mushy peas. Then we had crumble with custard and it tasted as good as any pub, café or restaurant. In fact, I comlipmented the cook on how nice it was. Thank you so much to all the staff that were on duty in the dining room.
