After a number of falls and an extended stay in hospital, Mum was discharged straight into the care of Bucklow Manor Care Home. She has now been a resident for nearly 2 years. I am very happy with the care she is receiving. Before she went she was hardly eating and has since put on much-needed weight.
The home has regular activities in which Mum participates in. The staff are kind and funny. They keep me fully informed. I have peace of mind that Mum is being well looked after, although her dementia is clearly advancing.

I can't speak highly enough of this care home and staff. They are catering for Dad's needs perfectly and he is so happy and everyone seems to love him. Every time a member of the care team come past him, they all stop to give him a hug and he loves the attention. Whenever we leave the home after our
visits, we can rest easy knowing that Dad is receiving the best care possible and finally thank you to one staff member in particular and all the staff for always bringing us pots of tea, much appreciated.

Mum has been in Bucklow Manor for four years and now has advanced dementia. She is very content when we visit and is settled in her environment. The staff( all the staff, carers, domestic staff, chefs etc) are all clearly part of a happy team who know and speak to her and she responds to them. They
are friendly and treat her with such dignity and kindness. I am grateful and reassured that the staff are there when I can't be. It can be very hard to see your relative with this illness but the team make visits a pleasure with the warm, welcoming environment they create.

Bucklow Manor Care Home is so wonderful. They are really looking after my father. They are very friendly and helpful. They are also very considerate towards everybody that goes in there to visit. You get a lovely pot of tea as soon as you get in there and if you need a refill they will bring you another
pot. They also let you know everything by phone, they keep you in the loop at all times. Would highly recommend this home to anybody. The staff are all very caring they are worth their weight in gold.

I have nothing but praise for the staff. They are all so caring and friendly and always have time to answer any queries. We are always greeted with a smile and a tray of tea and coffee. I feel comfortable leaving my husband - who has vascular dementia - as I know he is being cared for. Perhaps the house
could do with a lick of paint, but it is clean and warm which is more important.

I was fortunate enough to spend Christmas Day and Boxing Day with my husband at Bucklow. I was fed and watered in the dining room, and the tables were decorated as you would do at home. The food was great. Since my husband became a resident, services, level of care and compassion have exceeded all expectations.
My family and I visit most days, so this is no show; they are genuinely caring. Most importantly, my husband is happy, and so are we.

My mum was a resident of Bucklow Manor for over four years. The staff nursed my mum through her dementia until the end of her life, with extreme care, patience, gentleness and love. They not only supported my mum, but the whole of her family through the very sad time of her passing away. We cannot praise
or thank the staff enough.

When dad first arrived at the home we couldn’t believe our luck, things changed over the next few months. All the good senior staff have left the home. It seems to be mainly agency staff that do not know the residents properly. The CQC obviously pre announce their visits as the home was very different
that day.

My mum had regular respite care at Bucklow Manor whilst living with me.
She had advanced Dementia.
Compared to all the other care homes offering respite that mum had stayed in, Bucklow Manor was by far the best, by a million miles.
For the first time, mum was happy to be left at the care home, which
was reassuring for us both.
The staff are caring and professional and I felt completely happy and secure that my mum was having the best care in my absence.
Very quickly I decided that if I couldn't manage mum at home any more, she would become a full-time resident at Bucklow Manor.
The manager is absolutely excellent.
The food, care, rooms and most importantly the staff are first rate.

My lovely Mum has Alzheimer's, the care home has been fantastic. The staff can't do enough for you and have become friends, they give me peace of mind as I know my Mum is very well looked after and safe. My visits have always been made to feel so homely. I always feel welcome and staff have always been
there to help if I have any queries. I feel so lucky to have found Bucklow Manor is nothing at all that I don't like. The care my Mum receives is exceptional.

Warm, sensitive and friendly staff run this care home in an amazing way.
The place is immaculately clean. Families of residents are welcome with a smile and an abundance of tea and biscuits.
My mum is so well cared for that I can rest peacefully when I leave her.

Mum (aged 98) needed more care than was possible where she was living prior to her move to Bucklow Manor Care Home, so moved there in May 2017.
Everyone and everything has been brilliant from the very first day the manager and her team have all been so kind yet so efficient that it was easy to forget
just how difficult their jobs are. Absolutely first class - thank you all so much for taking such great care of mum.

My father was referred to Bucklow Manor in August 2017, at aged 96. He needed care and understanding and received everything I could have wished for. All staff were excellent and the place was always clean and all residents appeared to receive the same. My father became bedridden three weeks before
he passed away and their care and attention remained outstanding. I cannot express in words how grateful I am to Bucklow Manor management and staff and have no hesitation in recommending it highly.

I honestly cannot thank all the staff enough. We were so worried about nan going into a care home but they have not only cared for her, she has a new lease of life. She's smiling again, she genuinely loves being there. On top of that it, they have made it feel like a family. They have made us feel part
