My wife's step mum has been in Alistre Lodge Nursing & Care Home for about 7-8 weeks and I've visited her for 5 to 6 days each week. Her care is just brilliant and I can't praise the manager and her staff highly enough. The carers have a great working relationship with each other and it shows in the
standard of the care they provide. Even during Covid-19 lockdowns, the care given was incredible and close family members were given the opportunity to say their goodbyes. I can only say thank you to all of them.

My mother moved to Alistre Lodge in August 2018. Her mobility had deteriorated and she needed more care than her residential home was able to provide. I was concerned about the move as she had taken a while to settle in the residential home and this would be yet another confusing upheaval in her life
(she also has mild Alzheimers). I needn't have worried - within days she had chosen her preferred lounge (of which there are several) and chair and was telling me how nice the staff are!


Alistre Lodge provides excellent care for my mother, a welcoming atmosphere and is also very supportive to me.
