Dad needed emergency respite and we were offered a room at the Fairhaven. Dad is very private, shy and independent. Aged 88, this was the 1st time he's received any form of care, we were naturally apprehensive...would he settle, would he accept the help etc. It became very obvious, very quickly that
Dad was enjoying his stay. He had a lovely room in a cosy home from home environment. The staff are the best, caring, kind and they quickly tuned in to what dad could and couldn't do, allowing independence yet helping when needed. I could call anytime and get an update on how dad was. Dad loved not just the staff and company but the food too. He would do his review each day ha! Always happy with the meals and choice provided. Thank you to all the staff, dad cried when he left after his 10-week stay! We would recommend Fairhaven, priceless.

Reply from Mandy, Registered Provider at Fairhaven Care Home

Julie, it was a pleasure to have your Dad stay with us. We all (residents and staff) miss his company but I'll let everyone know how he's getting on. Thank you so much for this review The team work really hard to meet our resident's needs and to hear such positive feedback is such a boost. As I mentioned before, your Dad is welcome to call in any time you're passing, there's always a cup of tea brewing or a bite to eat! Once again, thanks for taking the time to write this review.

We will be eternally grateful for the love and care given to my sister. The attention to detail that the management and staff gave us was above and beyond our expectations and it really was a home from home.
