I would like to say a huge thank you to the staff on duty this afternoon. The care, compassion and respect they showed my mum enabled her to have a very dignified death. They were all very supportive to myself and my daughter at a very distressing time, making the situation more bearable. It is times
like this where we realise how fortunate we are to have people who care for and about others. As a colleague of the care sector I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I knew I had chosen the right place for Mum and that you all made her final two weeks as comfortable as possible.

My brother initially inspected "The Grove" for our Mum and was so impressed he asked the manager immediately if he could reserve a place for her, what an excellent choice he made. It's convenient, and comfortable, the staff/management are approachable and appear happy in their work which must be demanding.
The facilities as is the choice of menus excellent, the accommodation is adequate, clean and serviceable. The downtime areas, inside and outside, are attractive and well cared for. The care our mum receives is first class as she can be quite stubborn at times (but can't we all), the activities are varied and constant. On the whole we can't find any negatives. Mum is settled, well-fed, warm and well-looked after. Thanks a lot.

From my first visit to look around The Grove I was impressed by the way the manager spoke to me - with genuine compassion and care and everything I saw and heard gave me confidence that my husband would receive a good level of care.
It soon became apparent that everything at The Grove was excellent.
The genuine and sincere care and compassion from the staff and the general 'family feel' every time I went in to visit. My husband received the best care. The staff treated him with sensitivity and dignity and also cared for us as a family too - thank you!

The place is modern with 1 level living. The food is of a high standard with a variation of foods on the menu.
The staff are very helpful and friendly they give support to the residents
The management gave information on the processes of my mother's care, there are daily activities, the rooms are
quite comfortable adequate and clean and it gives I think value for money.
Overall it is a nice comfortable place for my mother.

The Grove is an exceptional home, I can't recommend more highly for your loved one. The manager is approachable, caring and knowledgeable. The home is very well run ensuring the safety of residents. The staff are truly special. There is a real team/family environment. They have one vision in mind and
that is to provide excellent care and support to the residents who live there. Together, they create a real welcoming, friendly and caring 'home' environment. The staff know residents well and are compassionate and sensitive to individual needs. They treat people with dignity and respect and go the extra mile for people. The home is beautifully clean, well maintained and there are always lovely displays of what is going on or activities residents have been doing. Bedrooms are personalised and always clean. There are a wide range of activities for residents creating memories and fun. Communication between the home and family is very good with regular newsletters and posts on social media

The staff at The Grove have been truly amazing from the first moment my mum arrived. They are so professional and the care they give is outstanding. Mum has settled quickly and we are safe in the knowledge she is in an excellent care facility. Nothing is too much for the nurses, HCAs and all support

We took time to review a number of nursing homes before moving my mum to The Grove in August 2022 after mixed experiences at her previous nursing home. The Grove had excellent reviews and our experience of meeting the manager and staff gave us confidence that Mum would be in good hands in a safe, clean
and friendly environment. That initial feeling has proven to be right. All the staff are caring, professional and cheerful. Although bed-bound 24 hours a day, Mum has built up a good rapport with all the carers and nurses and trusts them all. Most importantly, she is happy with the care she receives. Also, when we go away on holiday, I have confidence that Mum is having the best possible care and they help with remote communication where necessary. I'd recommend this homely nursing home which treats residents and family with care and respect.

The staff are wonderful, caring for my mum, who has lost all mobility and has advanced dementia. She is looked after with kindness, dignity, skill and respect. The home itself is very clean and well maintained, regular activities are organised, and menus are planned to suit the profile of residents.
There
is regular communication with me if Mum's condition changes or if she has any concerns.
I recommend the Grove unconditionally. The care and professionalism are apparent from the moment you go through the doors.

The staff were excellent in the care they provided my father who had lost all mobility and also suffered from dementia. He was completely at their mercy but at all times they treated him with dignity and respect. I cannot praise them enough. There will always be issues but as soon as we had any concerns,
we as a family were listened to and any concerns of ours were quickly dealt with.

Myself and the family cannot thank you enough for the care and love you have shown to my mum. Sadly, she passed away yesterday and my heart is truly broken but I know she is now

After a bad experience at a previous care home, the staff here resolved our faith in the care system. All the staff are truly amazing, welcoming and kind. My grandma was showed nothing but respect and dignity in her time here. Staff went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and we as a

The nurse's, caregivers and everyone involved with the running of The Grove care home looked after my mother with care and love; from the time she was admitted to her passing in very difficult times, due to the Covid pandemic, whether it was a window view or the pod visit at Christmas, and the final
week of her passing; they always made you feel welcomed and treated you with respect.

The nurses and carers are very caring. My husband regards it as his home and feels safe and cared for in his bedroom. I trust the staff fully and admire how they have coped through the pandemic. The Grove keep us up to date with the Covid.

My mum had been in the Grove for over 2 years. She had a lot o medical problems and was always looked after well. Her conditions recently had got a lot worse all the staff continued to look after her very well. The time living through the COVID pandemic has been very challenging for all the staff and
residents because family and friend haven't been able to visit. They have allowed visits when possible. In my mum's last days they treated her with dignity and consideration.

During our term of office (Mayoress) we visited many care homes and hospitals in the line of duty but in the end, I chose The Grove for my retirement and I am very glad I did. The carers are wonderful, the food is good, the atmosphere, in general, is everything you could wish for in retirement. I am
