Paradise House is a purpose-built home and is situated on the west side of Leyland, close to local shops and amenities and surrounded by parkland. All residents are provided with individual personal or nursing care by highly trained staff within a warm, relaxed and friendly environment.

They work closely with residents to develop a joint care plan and encourage involvement in activities that suit individual personal interests and abilities. Help is always on hand with an emergency call system.

They pride themselves on being a high-quality nursing and residential care provider that strives to deliver a first-class service to all residents. In addition, dedicated domestic staff provides a daily room cleaning and laundry service and catering staff ensure that all meals are prepared freshly on-site each day.

Morning coffee and afternoon tea are always available and they also cater for specialist dietary requirements and individual preferences.

My sister has resided at Paradies House since February 2020. She suffers from Alzheimer's disease. She is often confused about everything and can be very difficult and violent at times. The staff have always been marvellous with her. They are so patient. On December 20th 2021, she suffered s stroke
and was in the hospital for three wells; then she was found a nursing bed at another care home before moving back to Paradise House after being assessed as suitable to go. She is slowly getting some mobility back in her legs and is very pleased to be back home at Paradies House, where she knows a lot of the staff and residents. A great care home.

Mum has been in Paradise House for 8 months now and is very settled, comfortable and at ease here. She always comments on how well she is cared for and how grateful she is for the care and support she receives. I can tell how comfortable and at ease she feels from her demeanour and natural relationship
with all the staff who always treat her with respect, consideration and friendly courtesy. It is lovely to see mum doing so well at her age.

My Father has been in Paradise House now for 4 years and I rate his care as exceptional. I have sat with my father for many hours over this time where I haven't been noticed by the care staff going about their business looking after the residents and I have never seen or heard anything that has detracted
from my high opinion of my father's care.


Prior to Covid, I have always been impressed with the activities that have been laid on to stimulate the residents. As an only child, it was very hard for me to put my father in care and the level of care my father has received over the last 4 years has been a great comfort to me. I would highly recommend Paradise House to anyone needing residential care for a relative with dementia.

When my father fell and had vascular dementia, my family found ourselves very unexpectedly having to find him a care home and what a nightmare that was. We wanted the very best for him but we also wanted a place that felt like home where he would be treated with respect, kindness and care. We researched
care homes, reached out to the community and we were so very fortunate in finding Paradise House. Nothing is too much for the staff there. You can visit any time, (that says a lot) and with no notice. All the staff knows dad, his likes and dislikes and they contact me if they have any concerns with his health. He has an Alexa in his room and they put on his favourite music. There are social events put on. I have very high standards and didn't think any care home would meet them but I was wrong. Dad has now been in Paradise House since September 14th and will stay there as long as he is able. This is truly a wonderful place.

Since the present manager has returned to Paradise House, the care has been excellent as it was when she was manager previously. The staff- many of the original team who have also returned are polite, helpful and supportive.

Since the present Manager (September 2021) has returned to Paradise House, standards are excellent again. The previous staff have returned- a tribute to the present manager and all is well again. The staff are professional, polite, caring and thoughtful now- again.

Dad has now been a resident at Paradise House for two months and myself and mum are so happy with the home. My partner developed dementia a few years ago and recently declined to a point where she needs 24/7 care and I was unable to cope. I managed to get her a place in Paradise House. It was a hard decision to make but the best one for her. The manager and her staff have been brilliant from day one. She
loves it and all the staff. I can now get a good night's sleep knowing she is being looked after and the bonus is that I can still take her out and spend quality time with her.

Mum went into the home in June 2020 during the lockdown, so we have not been able to go into the care home as of yet. Although we had communication problems at first, there has in the last few months been a new manager and a new deputy manager and our experience since then has vastly improved. We now
have regular updates and conversations about mum and it's lovely to know that she has now made connections with some staff and they with her. A big thank you to all the staff at Paradise House, you are all doing a fabulous job. Mum has made a couple of special connections with staff and although I cannot name them, one she calls 'a lovely little girl and the other is a lovely guy that she refers too as 'Our'. Also well done to the new management team, I now feel that mum is in a kind and caring environment. Myself and family are looking forward to meeting more staff when the home can again open its doors to visits.

Paradise House is set in a country lane near Leyland. It is a modern, purpose-built, well-lit building on two floors. Each floor has a large residents lounge.
On our initial visit to see what the home was like, we arrived without appointment and were shown around the whole building immediately with
a member of staff. The residents were mostly in the lounge areas and just finishing lunch. The staff were engaged with helping some residents eat or clearing away. Conversation between staff and residents was continuous. Staff were happy to answer a multitude of questions and were very reassuring. We have visited our relative several times and she was settling in and eating well. The family have been consulted over medical and personal care. We are very happy with Paradise House staff, care, and compassion.
The furniture in the bedrooms is specifically chosen avoiding sharp corners. Each room has a personal wash area/sink/mirror and ample room for storing clothing and personal belongings.

There are not enough words to say how fabulous this care home is, they are like my extended family. My father since day one has never asked about leaving or going home. The staff go above and beyond to look after him and the other residents. It’s such a hard decision to put a family member in a care
home but he is so happy there, and I can’t thank them enough for being there for him. Not a bad word to say about Paradise House or the staff there. Many thanks to you all.

I don't like my wife being there because one reason is they make her stay in her wheelchair all the time, whilst all the other residents can sit on other, more comfortable chairs and she sometimes says she is sore and not comfortable. Wheelchairs are not for sitting on all day. I have told them.

My Mum has been cared for very well. The staff are wonderful and all of them are patient and very caring. I would recommend this home to anyone. It has always been clean and residents are happy and well looked after.

This place is an absolute gem. Placing a loved one in care is one of the hardest decisions a family can make. After looking at so many care homes and thinking we would never find the right one we were told about Paradise House and when we visited we knew within minutes that this was the place for Mum.
It is bright, cheerful, and very clean. The resident's rooms are immaculate and bathrooms kept spotless. Most important are the staff. They are truly caring from the Manager down to cleaning staff. They really do go the extra mile. We have seen nothing but kindness and respect for the residents from the staff, most of whom have been there for the two years that Mum has been a resident and we have never had any worries about her care. She is happy, always clean, and well dressed. Her physical health has improved and stabilised. The meals are excellent and there are lots of activities for residents. There is a real family feel too as we have got to know the other residents and their families.
