This 75 bed home is run by a very experienced and considerate care team and qualified nurses who provide care for those with complex medical needs. Highfield Hall supports individuality and independence in all its residents and provides a safe environment to socialise, build relationships and enjoy life, every day.

A comfortable home and a happy place to reside in,
Activities for the residents are presented well and provide a variety of interesting experiences, catering for all involved.
Friendly staff;
I have found the staff approachable at all times and most helpful, even when I haven't requested help they
are there to assist me.
Food could be improved, hence the four star award.

Both my mother and father have resided at Highfield. Dad sadly died some 12 months back, his care was excellent, and we were fully supported in that time. I was with him in the home till the end. Mum continues in the home, and the level of care has not ceased to be that of excellence.

An excellent care home. Where staff is brilliant and caring and kind. Its managed very good, good service provided and looks after their client. Enough activities to keep them engaged and happy. Clients treated with respect and given them home like environment. their safety is top of their priority.

Having a parent in a care home is tough going for any family. My dad was at Highfield hall for almost 4 years. The team are caring and compassionate, and the key ingredient is a wonderful lady called Michelle Southern who leads the team. She provided us with reassurance, guidance, empathy, professionalism
and support through numerous health issues. She always knew and understood all my dad's health care needs, always seeking ways to improve life for my dad. She looked after me and my sister at every step of the way. It was clearly evident that all the team look to a particular member of staff for guidance and with good reason.
My dad's key carer was the most compassionate, caring person I have ever met. My dad's eyes lit up when she came in the room. She shared funny stories and treated my dad so beautifully. Sometimes it is the little gestures that made the biggest difference in the world.
Thank you for making us feel part of a family in the last days of my dad's life. Forever grateful.

I could not be more than happy with the care my wife has received since becoming a resident at Highfield. I always feel a family atmosphere in the home, to me I have peace of mind knowing my wife's is safe, well fed and her dignity is well respected. Highfield is clean all throughout the building, the
staff are very friendly and helpful if I have any questions regarding my wife's care. The home has great entertainment getting the residents to join in where possible, from days out, to inhouse entertainment. She has been settled in Highfield from day one which speaks volume for the home. Thanks to everyone, I know how hard you work to make Highfield a safe and happy place for the residents and families when they visit their loved ones.

We are absolutely delighted with everything at Highfield Hall Care Home. It is clean, bright and airy and very welcoming upon entry. The staff are absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful and there are always plenty of staff around. They all go over and above in their work and it is a pleasure to
visit mum. The rooms are lovely with plenty of room and an ensuite. There is plenty of entertainment with something for residents to join in with every day. It is the nicest care home I have been to view and I can't recommend it enough. Thank you to everyone at Highfield Hall for giving me the piece of mind, knowing that mum is safe and well cared for. There aren't any words which could express how delighted I am that mum is lucky enough to be a resident at Highfield Hall.

We are extremely happy with all the staff and caregivers at Highfield Hall, they treat my mother with dignity and respect, they spend time with her and have developed a trusting relationship, they are responsive to her needs with dementia and she particularly enjoys all the activities they provide including
days out. I live in Italy and can't get to see her on a daily basis but knowing that she is in such good hands and in good company with the other residents is priceless and gives the whole family peace of mind, thank you all so much for your care and kindness, it's greatly appreciated.

My uncle stayed here in June 2024. This was for respite cover. The facilities were fantastic with plenty of room. I was very impressed with the arranged activities throughout the week which included trips out. The main thing that I would like to comment upon is the attitudes of the staff. The staff
were brilliant. They clearly had knowledge of my uncle's history and there was good evidence that they had learned a lot about him. Staff having time for my uncle is brilliant. I have now booked another respite period for him. Man, thanks to all at Highfield Hall.

Welcoming bright clean and spacious. Staff know residents by name and are alert to their needs. Call button in the room and excellent facilities in Highfield with visiting medical staff who give me telephone updates as I live a long way away.
Good communication with relatives by telephone and email
and easy to visit. Food and dining were highly praised by my mother. Activities are varied and stimulating and residents seem happy. One of her visitors said, “This is what a care home should be like”.

My grandmother is happy and enjoys living at Highfield Hall. The staff are lovely and she has made lots of fantastic friends.
All the residents are friendly and the home has a super family feel to it. I enjoy visiting with my own family who love getting to know the other residents and seeing my grandma

I live miles away from Highfield and can't visit my mum regularly. I know, however, my mum constantly receives the best care possible from the carers and staff at Highfield. When I ring my mum in the evenings she is always bright and cheerful and I feel reassured that she is in good hands. My sister
fortunately lives near to Highfield and is always happy with the care our mum receives. Well done everyone and thank you.

Following Mum’s passing last Friday, I would like to express my grateful thanks to all the carers who looked after her during her stay with you.
As a family, we have nothing but admiration for the care she received. My mum was a very private person and was not one for mixing. She was happy with her
own company and that of her carers. She never complained about anything and was always pleased to see anyone who ventured into her room.
These last two weeks have been very traumatic both for my mum and ourselves as the reality of her medical situation hit home and it fell to her carers to handle matters with professionalism and dignity which they did throughout.
One member of staff and her team, one member of staff in particular and her pal (don’t know her name!), another particular member of staff, and all the daily carers whom Mum came into contact with were without exception excellent.

I would highly recommend Highfield after the outstanding care and empathy my mum received during her stay, from the care staff to the activity coordinator, the cooks, the laundry people and the lovely receptionist; they made my mum's stay a lovely experience and always kept us informed and nothing was
too much trouble. We could visit whenever we wanted with grandchildren and great-grandchildren welcomed, and Mum always looked well and loved having her hair and nails done and loved the trips out. Thank you so much to all the team.
