Staff arranged a thoughtful and lovely afternoon for parents 58th wedding anniversary - live singer,m excellent. Staff dancing with residents, lovely to see mother-in-law so happy and singing along to songs.

My Wife has been at Marley Court for the last 7 weeks and I have found the service marvellous. The care staff are professional and caring and make residents and friends and family feel very welcome. The food is always really good and my wife and I are able to enjoy lunch together. I have great respect
for all the staff and the hard work they do.

Grandpa is very settled in Marley Court. He has privacy with the care that he needs. The food has improved recently with new meals, even his favourite salmon. Senior staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The throughput of junior staff seems high. Good careers who speak clearly to him don’t
stay in the job very long.
He is being encouraged to join in with social activities with the recent addition of exciting events. I visited with my daughter during the “meet and stoke small animals“ afternoon in October. The skunk was so soft and not smelly at all. Bingo on Fridays, dogs visit for strokes, visits from Brass Bands and a Christmas fair have all entertained the residents and relatives alike. My Grandpa has the dates in his diary and looks forward to them. I too hope they continue.

I don't believe I have ever met management or owners throughout the eight months been going.
Turnover of staff is constant, have met some very good carers. However, have since all left (excluding a small few).
Always appear to be a small amount of staff on for the number of residents then need to
see to and this has an effect on the support residents are receiving as a whole. Hardly any activities/trips take place at all.

My mother has been in Marley Court for the last 6 months and it has taken her a while to settle but now seems to be getting there. The staff are very helpful and have looked after mum well, although I feel sorry for them as they always seem short staffed. The room mum is in is always clean and the cleaners
do a brilliant job of keeping the lounge and everywhere else spotless.
Meals are nice. The only thing I would say is they need more entertainment as mum gets bored as I'm sure other residents do but again there isn't enough staff and they can only do so much.
I always say look after your staff and they will give you all they can. Speaking to other resident's relatives, they all say the same. Management very helpful.

Mum has now been in Marley Court for 6 months. She was very independent prior to a severe stroke and we have found a caring team at Marley Court trying very hard under difficult circumstances to help her to settle into her new home.

My Mum came to Marley Court on Friday 23rd October 2015, (a little apprehensive if I am honest, leaving her own home) she was welcomed and made to feel very comfortable by all the staff immediately. They were extremely nice to her and very accommodating from this day until her last. They cared for her
excellently and when she became more poorly they were there every step of the way for not only my Mum but for the family too. The staff really showed their true colours, they were so nice, friendly, professional and helpful I cannot begin to say how good they actually were. From accommodating us when we were there with Mum, to regular updates and checks to see that Mum was comfortable, they are an outstanding team. I will gladly recommend this care home to anyone in a similar position or in need of care, be it residential or nursing. Excellent, well done and thank you so much for making Mums time with you pleasant, nice and comfortable. Keep up the good work, please.

Marley Court is the nicest home I have visited. The staff are professional and treat residents as individuals and nothing is too much trouble, they go that extra mile to ensure their residents needs are met. Whatever time you visit the home is always very welcoming and calm. I just wish my dad could

My mum has been at Marley Court since July 2012 following a massive stroke at age 68 in March 2012. Staff are lovely - kind, hard-working, friendly and caring. Management are approachable and reactive. The home is very clean and never smells. My mum is not over keen on food at times but she does have
unusual tastes! Food we see being served always looks tasty. Lovely home - can visit at any time. Highly recommended.

Joined: 2022

Rachael joined the team in July 2022. She has settled in well and is building great relationships with the staff and residents.


She's a mental health nurse and has been a manager of care homes since 2010. She has worked in care homes since 2019.


She is extremely passionate about elderly care and aims to provide the best possible experience for the residents that live at Marley court along with her team.

I absolutely love working as an activities co-Ordinator at Marley court, we love many different activities from gardening, growing our own fruit and veg, creative projects, community involvements and much much more.


I have trained in cereal box construction and write my own panto lyrics for our annual staff panto which is loved by residents and our local community.


I have a huge passion for animals and believe animal therapy in the home makes a big difference, we have regular visits from all kinds of animals from lambs to a mini zoo.


I get very creative competitive and when there is a competition on between the Millennium homes we love nothing more than brainstorming ideas of how we can win.
