Our mum has been treated with care and empathy at Abbeycroft. The staff go out of their way to make residents happy. The home is clean and fresh and mum says the food is very good. We have no complaints.

Because of the Covid pandemic, visits to the care home have not been allowed until recently and only one or two family can now visit. Therefore, it is difficult to comment as our time spent at the home is limited.

My grandma has been a resident since January 2020. She has settled in very well due to the incredible staff that have been so patient, as she is very challenging. She has been treated with the utmost respect and dignity, and as a family, we have been kept informed of everything. I cannot praise the
quality of care highly enough.

My mother was originally very agitated but over time the staff have helped calm her down and she seems if not happy (would obviously still like to be home) at least pacified.
She is extremely stubborn and we know it isn't always easy to get her to bath etc we accept this but obviously hope all is
done to keep her clean and dry. All is done to try and get her to mix with everyone and maybe over time this area will improve.

The staff have been brilliant with my brother. Unfortunately, there is no safe outside space for him to go to and he escapes so that he can go for walks as he has always been an outdoors person.

The carers are carers and really do care for the residents. My brother has come more alive since he went there. He now takes an interest in life which he didn't before so I would give a big 'thank you' to the whole team at Abbeycroft.

I have no hesitation in recommending this facility, my dad had a heart attack whilst I was on holiday. I was contacted immediately and kept informed. I came back to a very happy man who was well cared for and well fed. Medications were in order and all my request acknowledge. As a retired nurse, this
was the best home I have come across in years and am now considering full-time care for my dad. I wish to thank ALL staff for their care and diligence. *****

Our mum was sent to Abbeycroft for end of life care. The care given to mum was perfect, she was treated with respect and her personal care was the best we could hope for, the staff were so caring to mum and us, she was treated with love!
We just wish she cold have lived there in better health.
I would
recommend Abbeycroft to all who are looking for elderly relative care.
