Our Mum Is a very proud lady who was diagnosed with dementia some 4-years ago, it was a difficult decision to look into her becoming a resident in a care home. This decision was taken in June 2020 during the first lockdown, due to Mum having a short stay in the hospital. Mum settled into Cromwell Court
very quickly which made our decision worthy. Mum is very happy there, which is evident in the pictures that we see online. The staff are supportive and through the recent difficult times, they have maintained the care for Mum and the residents, ensuring that they have as much understanding as possible. Most recently, being able to visit or take Mum out has been absolutely amazing. When talking to Mum she always says how much she is loved and how much she loves the staff, this shows when visiting her and seeing the staff with her. Keep going Cromwell Court.

What an amazing care home Cromwell Court is. My mum resides there and I couldn’t wish for a better home. The manager and all her staff are fantastic, caring, thoughtful and so kind to all the residents, it certainly puts my mind at rest knowing my mum is taken such good care of.

I was very worried about my mother going into a care home but after seven years of looking after her, as her dementia is progressing, it was time to find her somewhere that could take better care than we could provide. For the first time in all these years, I recently came out of Cromwell Court Care
Home with a feeling I thought I'd never have.....total relief, knowing what a nice place it is with very friendly and caring staff.
My mother is settling in well and we are all happy with the care she is receiving.

Mum came to live at Cromwell Court Care Home in February 2015, the care has been excellent on the residential unit for the past seven years, the staff have all been amazing and met all Mum's care needs. They regularly have singers and entertainment and activities are very good.
Food could be improved
and has been up and down over the years. But I guess that could be down to what the elderly like to eat and Mum can be fussy. I've requested a sandwich to be made for Mum and this has never been a problem for the staff in the kitchen.
The manager runs the home well and is often seen on the units and not just in the office. She cares about all the residents like she would her own parents.
Mum has recently moved to a different unit as she now needs nursing care.
I would 100% recommend Cromwell Court for the care of your loved ones.

My sister went to live at Cromwell Court Care Home due to her being unsafe at home, it was the hardest decision as a family we had to make. It was also the best decision we made, we could not have found a better home. The staff are just amazing and the care they give is outstanding. I would also like

My dad has been a resident at Cromwell Court for two years. He is so at home there, the manager and all the staff are amazing with him. He was admitted to hospital in July, whilst in there he refused to take his medication, doctors suggested stopping all medications and putting Dad on end of life. Once
he returned home, seeing all those lovely kind, familiar faces, he started taking his medications.....he's doing really well. This is all down to the love and care at Cromwell Court Care Home. We can't thank all the staff enough.

Couldn’t have chosen a better care home. My mum was admitted in the middle of the Covid pandemic. I honestly cannot thank the staff enough for taking such good care of her, she has never looked so well. We can now visit when we like which is such a relief as we can pop in when we please. Cannot thank
the manager enough. You need more managers like her. So approachable and genuinely cares about every resident. Keep up the good work team Cromwell Court.

My mum has currently been a resident of Cromwell Court's nursing unit since November 2020, after being ill for some nine weeks in hospital. She was admitted to the care home mid-Covid outbreak and it was some months before I was able to visit. During that time and since, the staff have been incredible.
They are absolutely amazing and the love and care they show, not only to my mum and myself but every single resident, is fantastic. I truly couldn't wish for anywhere better for my mum to be cared for. The nursing team do such an amazing job and I really cannot thank them enough, absolutely nothing is too much trouble. I know that Mum can be extremely challenging at times and I am put at ease knowing she is in such good hands.
Cromwell Court is outstanding. Each individual bedroom/ensuite is spotlessly clean and so comfortable and accommodating. Definitely home from home and somewhere I would have no hesitation in recommending.
A massive well done to you all. Thank you.

My mum has dementia so as a family we decided that the best thing for Mum's safety had to be a care home, we chose Cromwell Court after looking at a lot of care homes and talking to a lot of people, and to be quite honest it was a very good decision, Mum is being looked after very well and the staff

Best decision my family and I have ever made. They are truly professional and treat my mother as if they were actually part of their own family.
Not only that they treat myself and my family exactly the same way.

My dad went into Cromwell Court in February after a long six weeks in hospital, since Dad arrived at Cromwell Court I have noticed a great change in his behaviour, it’s amazing. My dad's bedroom is a great size with an en-suite, the staff there are very helpful and totally committed, their garden is
beautiful and very secure, great to see pictures on Facebook of the residents having fun times. Thank you manager and staff for all your support with my dad.

My father-in-law has made great progress since arriving here a few weeks ago. He seems very happy and settled. The staff are all fabulous and nothing ever seems too much trouble for them. My father-in-law enjoys the company of the staff and they all treat him with dignity and respect. The home is very
clean and doesn't have that awful smell associated with other care homes we have visited. Thank you for making a difficult situation much easier.

My mother was taken into the care of Cromwell Court nursing unit after referral from the district nurses looking after her. This decision was acceptable for me after looking at various care homes in the area. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated the care and attention she received in the short time
she was there. They looked after her very very well and that gave me great confidence in both the nursing staff and carers. Sadly she passed away whilst in their care and they looked after her in a dignified manner. Nothing was too much trouble for them from start to the end.

I just want to start by saying that this care home has been absolutely fantastic in caring for my nan. All of the staff, all the night staff, reception staff and many more. You were all amazing. You made our visits safe and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and we can't thank you all enough for

All staff I have dealt with have been amazing and nothing is too much trouble, always go above and beyond!
After spending a time in hospital, my dad requires nursing care and I can't thank the staff enough for all they are doing for my dad. Every time he has needed any additional requirements and we
have spoken to the team, they had already noted and either resolved or resolving in house or via a GP. It is the first time I have ever been involved with a care home and I am glad to say they have eradicated any fears that I had, it is very hard for family to hand caring for a loved one over to others.
Please note the only reason I have stated don't know to value for money is that at the moment my dad's care is paid for, I have no idea what the rate is so feel unable to comment.

My father was admitted to Cromwell Court after recovering from Covid-19, his cognitive state had deteriorated and was unable to walk and sit properly. He has come on leaps and bounds whilst being at Cromwell, he is well looked after and very happy. He is now joining in with the other residents and spending

My dad has been a resident in the nursing unit at Cromwell Court for 6 months. He went there during the time Care Homes were closed to visitors due to the Covid pandemic. This made the situation more traumatic for us as we were unable to look around any care homes to help us choose the right place for
Dad. We needn’t have worried what an amazing place Cromwell Court is. The staff are outstanding - both with Dad’s care and needs as well as the family’s. The love and care they all show to the residents is wonderful - what a team. Thank you so much to everyone at Cromwell Court for everything you do for our Dad. On my first bedroom visit to see Dad the other week he said he felt at home. What more could any family member ask for.

I have been the Manager here for 4 years, although I have worked at Cromwell Court Care Home for 7 years. I have been working in care for 34 years, in mostly dementia residential settings.


I absolutely love my job at Cromwell Court Care Home and pride myself on knowing every one of our residents, and I have good relationships with the families of our residents.


I have a brilliant team of staff who all give 100% to their roles.


I believe everyone should be treated as an induvial and we fully promote person-centred care. I feel I am very approachable to staff and visitors which reflects in the reviews we receive.

Hi, my name is Sindy. I am the Senior Activities Coordinator at Cromwell Court Care Home.


I have worked at Cromwell Court Care Home since 2019. I love my job and I love putting a smile on the resident's faces. Every day is different, with new experiences, challenges and new rewards.


I am currently working on and enjoying creating different garden areas, such as the sensory garden and fairy garden. I also have many more future projects to come!

Hi, my name is Mo. I am the Receptionist at Cromwell Court Care Home.


I took the receptionist role in July 2021. I previously worked in NHS departments, Charity and Retail, always working directly with the public.


I really enjoy the challenges of the job and appreciate the rewarding aspects too.


I see my responsibility as offering a professional and friendly face and voice to the home for residents, visitors and staff equally.


I enjoy the chance to help and support the Cromwell Court Care Home family.
