My father moved to Cromwell Court during the lockdown. The staff are really friendly, and my father is much more settled, and you get an all-around good vibe. Frequent photos on Facebook all help to give a very positive impression.

The manager and the staff at Cromwell Court are always welcoming and have gone above and beyond each time we have had any enquiries or visited. During the pandemic and the challenges it has brought, the staff have adapted and always put the residents as priority. The staff should be proud of what they
offer and I thank them for looking after my nan so well.

Whenever I contact Cromwell Court with any queries or to arrange visits, I receive a response from the manager almost immediately. Moving my mum into this care home was the best decision ever, she is very happy, settled and well cared for and is always taking part in activities.
This has been a very
positive experience for my family and I cannot praise the manager and staff enough for their care.

I cannot praise the staff enough for how they have welcomed and looked after our mum. She has had a new lease of life and is so settled and happy. It’s such a hard decision to make and my sister and I always agree we made the best decision in choosing Cromwell Court for our mum. The manager has been
amazing while faced with all that has happened over the last twelve months with Covid and between her and such amazing staff everybody is safe. Huge thank you to you all for bringing mum into your lovely family.

I would recommend anybody to Cromwell Court, this will be my Mum's third Christmas with them and throughout this hard year, they have done an amazing job of taking care of her and us relatives, not to mention themselves. The manager and her team are just stars. Thanks, everyone!

I can not rate the manager and staff highly enough. My mum has been resident for nearly 3 years with dementia and during this very difficult time for me and my sister, we have been reassured by the loving care my mum has received by 'her extended family' the staff here. Before the lockdown, we visited
every day and also felt very much part of the family. To have this level of trust in the people caring for mum at such a vulnerable time in her life has allowed me to feel that she is in safe hands and in a caring and well-run residence. Lockdown has obviously been a very worrying time but being able to trust that she is in very capable hands has made things much less stressful. Thank you Cromwell Court staff.

Mum has been a resident for over two years and has been very happy here. Staff go above and beyond, looking after everyone and treating them with dignity and care. In these worrying times, I am reassured that Mum is being kept safe and sound and being kept entertained whilst we can't be with her.

Mum went in to Cromwell Court temporarily a few weeks ago. It's been a very anxious and emotional time for family as this is a huge change to Mum's circumstances and it's been very unsettling for Mum. Cromwell Court staff have been wonderful trying to put mum at ease and helping her to settle in. The
manager has gone above and beyond in supporting Mum and our family too. Supporting us at such a difficult time and during COVID, with the extra demands this brings speaks volumes. Thank you Cromwell Court from the bottom of our hearts.

My mother-in-law is safe, happy, well and has the best quality of life she could possibly have there. The staff are all amazing, they go above and beyond. We can't visit her at the moment due to the covid19. The manager at Cromwell is fantastic doing video calls with her to the family regularly and
posts pictures of her on the facebook website of her taking part in many activities. She's always smiling, having fun and looks great. Thank you, team Cromwell!

Mum has lived here for over 2 years now. The dedication and care she gets from all the staff are excellent. Everyone looks out for her and spends time with her, not just the carers, everyone there. At this time of the lockdown, I can see on photographs and videos how happy mum is and the way she smiles
at all the staff is lovely, they are her family and she trusts them.

I would recommend Cromwell Court as my dad settled in really quickly which was due to the care and attention that the staff showed towards him. He is really happy there and the staff were wonderfully supportive when he recently lost his wife.

Genuinely has to be the best care home I’ve visited. My Nan is doing fantastic despite her health conditions, she is well cared for and happier than she has been in a long time! Staff are simply amazing, it has a homely feel to the place and the staff do everything they can to ensure residents are looked
after and happy. I’ve seen staff dancing and singing with residents too which I think is so important for that connection! Well done Cromwell Court you're amazing!

My sister has been a resident for just two months. Her transition into the home was eased by the helpfulness and caring of the staff. During the lockdown because of the Coronavirus Pandemic, I was not allowed to visit her. However, due to the kindness of the manager, I was able to 'visit' my sister
via a video call. It was so comforting and reassuring to see her happy smiling face. Well done, Cromwell Court.

My dad has been a service user of this home a year and a half now, and I find the quality of care is of an extremely high standard. I have visited on many occasions to which I find my dad happy and if he's happy so am I. I know I can ring the home with any enquiries and they will answer in a friendly
manner to put my mind at ease. They have many entertainments to keep my dad amused and busy. In this sad time we are experiencing at the moment, COVID-19 and the home on lockdown, ringing the home is no problem. I can even videocall my father. I find this home fantastic and so lucky he lives there.

My mum went in the home in November after having a bad experience in a previous one. She has settled well, she has put weight on despite her health issues. The staff are warm and friendly. Management go out of their way, cooks, cleaners also do a great job.

My Mum has been into Cromwell Court twice whilst my Dad has been in our local Hospice.

I have been the Manager here for 4 years, although I have worked at Cromwell Court Care Home for 7 years. I have been working in care for 34 years, in mostly dementia residential settings.


I absolutely love my job at Cromwell Court Care Home and pride myself on knowing every one of our residents, and I have good relationships with the families of our residents.


I have a brilliant team of staff who all give 100% to their roles.


I believe everyone should be treated as an induvial and we fully promote person-centred care. I feel I am very approachable to staff and visitors which reflects in the reviews we receive.
