The home boasts three unique dementia Reconnect communities, designed to create a homely environment and engage residents in various daily activities such as arts and crafts, gardening, and cleaning. The dedicated Reconnect teams are highly trained in caring for individuals with different types of dementia, including Alzheimer's Disease, and ensures round-the-clock care with a higher team-to-resident ratio. I cannot praise Green Park Nursing Home highly enough. They looked after my Mum for eighteen months after she was admitted due to Alzheimer’s Disease. They took fantastic care of her until she passed away with dignity and peace at the very end of 2022. Unfortunately, my dad was critically ill in hospital
at the time she passed away. We managed to get him out of the hospital and into Green Park for the last five weeks of his life until he too passed away.
Knowing the care my mum had received, I was grateful for my dad to spend his last days somewhere I knew he too would be so well looked after.
The staff show the greatest compassion for the residents they look after. But I also need to mention how kind and supportive they were to myself, my brother and my sister-in-law, especially during the very darkest and hardest of times. Our family are so grateful to the GP team.

My mother moved to Green Park after a stay in hospital. She had been very poorly with a chest and UT infection and it had caused her to become more confused, this confusion had led to a fall which knocked her confidence and impaired her mobility. She received such a warm welcome and settled in there
really well. The staff are lovely, helpful and considerate and the level of care is second to none.

Amazing care! It’s a worrying time leaving your vulnerable loved one in the hands of strangers. Green Park is a wonderful care home that put the residents' health and well-being on top of the list. I can turn up at any time of the day (Covid permitting) and my dad is always washed, dressed and looking
relaxed and everywhere is nice and clean. I have, on a number of occasions, arrived at lunchtime and the food looks lovely with a good variety on offer and is always warm. They are always organising events and doing activities with the residents. My dad has been at the home for more than two years and the care has been consistent and the staff have always got time to talk and take on any concerns or worries you may have. This is a long review but my dad was in another care home before this one and the review for that home would not be the same I’m afraid. Thank you for the safe warm home you provide for our dad it is much appreciated!

Our dad has been a resident at Green Park for over two years. The care he receives is beyond excellent. There are always activities going on and relatives are kept up to date with photos of what they have been involved with. It is so reassuring to know that the staff care very much about all residents
and this helps to alleviate any worries that family can have particularly with what has happened during the pandemic.

My wife has been a resident for nine months and in that time she has been treated as if she is the only person the staff have to care for.
To refer to these people, mostly young, as staff is an unfair description. What they do and the spirit in which they do it is remarkable and ministering angels
would be a more apt description of them.
The accommodation is good and communication excellent.

Mum came to Green Park Care Home in November during the pandemic, the staff are amazing and the quality of care is unmeasurable, I was so worried at first about Mum not settling in, but the staff made the transition so much easier. Nothing is too much trouble, if I call to see how Mum is someone is
there to reassure me and they're professional and always happy to help. Mum has settled and now we are visiting outside we can take the dog Sophie, who Mum loves, she loved this and gave her treats. Seeing Mum surface again is just wonderful. Can't wait to give all the staff a hug, and say Thank you in person your all amazing

Fathers room not decorated for years! Father often unshaven and fingernails not cut. Hair dishevelled. Two members of staff dismissed for leaving father in soiled condition in February 2021.

My mum was extremely frail and ill when she first came here. I have watched mum open up and grow stronger (although still frail). I still feel that at all levels have contributed to her strength and determination. Their constant attention and care is immeasurable. Thank you all from the bottom of my

My nanna has been in Green Park since September 2020. Her progress has been nothing short of miraculous. Given weeks to live, she is still going strong which is down to the exemplary care provided by staff here. The staff are friendly and treat my nanna with dignity and nothing is too much trouble,

My mother became a resident at Green Park shortly before the first lockdown due to covid 19 in 2020. During what has been a very difficult and upsetting time, being separated from her, we have been comforted by the excellent care we know she receives. The staff go above and beyond to keep her well looked
after, safe and stimulated. We are kept informed not only if they have any concerns but also about the 'nice' things - conversations they have with her etc and this has really helped us stay 'connected' even when we couldn't visit.

My aunite is very well looked after. She is always happy. The activities team are brilliant at keeping the residents occupied. The home gave her a new lease of life. She had given up on before she arrived.

My dad is a resident at Green Park as he suffers from dementia, and couldn't cope on his own at home. My mum was also a resident until she passed away in July.
The staff at the care home always treat residents with dignity and respect. Although I can't see my dad, and he struggles to interact on the
phone, I am confident that he is happy and well cared for as my mum was. The activities team are amazing- always coming up with great ideas. My only hope is for Green Park to implement visiting arrangements quickly so that I can see him before he deteriorates further. Thank you for all that you do, stay safe.
