Thank you, Mervyn, for your feedback and kind comments about our home. We would like to assure you that all of these materials are available to all enquirers and families. Our home leaflet is available to download on our website as well as FAQs that explain all of the little details you would want to know before you move in. Both of these materials are also available as printed versions at our home. A welcome brochure is given to all of our new residents and their families, which includes all essentials information. All of this along with the T&Cs are readily available to all families before and after move-in. The care needs assessment is also done prior to the individual moving in to ensure that our home is able to provide appropriate and safe care for each resident. This is reviewed regularly with each resident and when someone’s care needs change. I hope this has reassured you; should you need any of this information, please reach out to us at the home. Communication is managed with each individual resident and their family, so we will look at ways to improve this. We recognise the importance of visiting, and we can only apologise that this has not always gone so smoothly. At times, there is a delay when entering the building due to other visitors having their Lateral Flow Tests. To accommodate any delays, we do aim to extend the visiting appointments so that no time is lost. At present, the home is undergoing a significant redecoration, but we have passed on all your comments to our team and will investigate any issues with your sister’s room. In the meantime, if you would like to discuss anything in more detail, please reach out to the Home Manager to arrange a meeting. Thank you again.
