No dispute with any person or carer at Chapel View, in fact, I find them very helpful to myself and to my wife and very tolerant towards her. Therefore, I think I've chosen a safe, well-run care home. Thank you.

As you walk in, Chapel View appears very shabby and in need of refurbishment but put that aside and my husband was looked after very well. The staff were all friendly, considerate and helpful, they all have their hearts in the right place. Care is very good, food is very good but there is a lack of
quiet lounge areas where residents can sit in peace.

This is a lovely welcoming home. The staff are so happy, always a smile for you. I wish I had found it earlier when my cousin was in respite.

I seriously don't know where to start. We had an assessment by the manager at my aunt's home prior to moving in. We felt extremely assured that this was going to be a good experience and that all my aunt's needs would be met. The manager knew our concerns and was reassured that my aunt would have a
fabulous care package. The manager even got upset seeing my aunt's anxiety about leaving her beloved home of 73 years, with all her memories.
We had to find a safe, caring and stimulating environment. My aunt has mobility issues and cannot walk unaided. I was told that this would be no problem and that she would be able to use her frame for the toilet and her meals. Not happened, only on 2 occasions. Then she was wheeled, not happy when we were told with a witness present that they would ensure her independence was paramount.
In 7 days she's only had her face washed and not her body. She was wrapped in her fleece when I got there, she said they couldn't find a cardigan.
There is so much more.

My dear mother-in-law has an NHS-funded rehabilitation placement for up to twelve weeks in Chapel View Care Home. She settled in immediately and we have been very happy with the outstanding care she has received from everyone at Chapel View.
My mother-in-law has improved her mobility, she is now fully
toileting herself, she is starting to eat more and is steadily gaining weight. We are delighted with her progression. Thank you to everyone.

My 94-year-old dad has moved into Chapel View Care Home after suffering a serious heart attack and being unable to live alone needing 24-hour care. He is so happy to have wondering and caring staff looking after him and giving him amazing company he loves and enjoys. He hasn't had much of an appetite
for years and they always make him a jam sandwich when he wants one! Well done Chapel View-we salute you all.

I felt like I was coming home when I came here. Everything is first-rate.
My only bad thought is why can't a few more staff be employed, even if just for two or three hours per day, to help with the busiest times.

The care home staff have been very good in looking after my dad. It is kept very clean. The staff try to get the residents to join in with activities. I cannot fault anything.
The staff are very good, the cleanliness is very good and the meals are very good.

First visit inside, collected Mum and took out to lunch previously.

Physical care is good, staff are pleasant and helpful at all times.
Difficult to asses social interactions due to limited access over the past two/three years. The pandemic had a major impact on residents' mental health, however, many of the staff have remained loyal to the home and have done their
best to maintain continuity.

Staff are absolutely brilliant with both Mum and Dad, Dad recently passed away and the lengths the staff went to to help us as a family were amazing from the start of when Dad was hospitalised through to his passing!
The care and support they have given both of them is outstanding. I feel like they
are an extended part of the family now and Mum and Dad have always been clean and well turned out. The home does not smell like a care home and the food there my mum especially had never once complained about.
I was dubious as all I ever wanted was them both to be in safe hands and loved and cared for and I have not been disappointed. I can't thank the staff enough for the proud care and love they give towards every single resident. Well done to all the staff, you are amazing!

My mum moved to Chapel View Care Home from another care home in February and I was understandably concerned about the change. However, I needn't have been as I have found Chapel View to be professional and caring and my mum has settled in really well.
Every member of staff I have spoken to whilst visiting
have been friendly and fun. My mum tells me how much she likes it here and praises all her carers.
I have no hesitation recommending Chapel View.

My grandma has recently become a resident here, starting with two weeks respite. We all, as a family, are extremely happy with her care and how she has settled into the home. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they are always so friendly and supportive.
